I bought two Chelco electronics from an eBay seller...a 80s style boombox and a shoebox tape recorder. Im going to agree with mic2261, and say that these are unsold stock from the late 70s or early 80s. The shoebox player works fine, but the boombox only outputs tape audio to the left speaker. The right speaker gives off a hissing noise. The boombox radio works fine though with great AM reception.
Ahh CasetteMaster! I believe that these are actual OLD players from the 70's. Someone must have found an old electronics store that went out of biz. This one will be up for sale soon. Keep an eye out for it!
@mic2261 Hello, I bought one of this in Ebay and it only works with headphones.Isn't it supposed to work with the built in speaker? I think I have received a defective unit. Does your player work with the internal speaker? Thanks!
Did you buy this or is this to sell them? I have just found out about the Chelco recorders and am intrigued by the fact that machines like that are apparently made brand new. They were all well out of my price range.
