@rugedandraw I doubt he's ever killed a bison, and yes, it would be a shame to kill a bison, but beef that you get in the store is bad for the the world in 2 ways: costs WAY less than it should, and takes a HELL of a lot to feed, so it uses up a TON of corn. Hunting eliminates pests and overpopulated species, and if you're taking 2 deer in one year of hunting, you've more than paid for the rifle and the ammo.

We've eliminated all the natural predators (at least in North America) so all the deer and such that used to be in check now breed out of control, and have occasionally STARVED to death because of man's folly. Btw, there's not enough grass in America to feed all the cows that we raise. We cram 10k heads of beef into one massive (probably 3 acre) pen, and they wallow in their own shit all day. I'd rather eat deer any day of the week over beef.

I currently own an FH/ Browing baby browing .25acp that was my grandmothers. I cannot hit shit with it and never take it the the range but the .25acp is an interesting round to say the least.. I don't know why it was invented as it's in between .22 and .32 but i don't see the need for an in the middle round ?

What will wear out springs is the constant compression and decompression cycles but if you just leave it compressed it's fine..

Very effective backup pistol if you don't mind it being twice as heavy and a fraction of the powerf as an LCP or P3AT in 380. Aim for the eyes. Skull shots likely won't penetrate.

Thats a cool pistol for collectors sake but a better pistol for a small woman would be a Kel Tec P32. I just sold one for $150 and it is only 6.6ounces unloaded and its slimmer. The 32ACP round is noticably more powerful than a .25 but in my opinion they are both underpowered for a defensive role. It was a good little pistol though, definatly better than nothing.

These older little jetfires are nice little guns. Better than the newer cats. Especially the .32 which has had major problems with frame cracking. Stay away from any newer used blued/matte .32 tomcats. I was gonna get one used at a local ffl. I wasn't even aware of the cracking issue at the time. Looked it over, and saw a small crack in the frame. Told the store owner, he wasn't happy. He purchased a broken gun...doh.
