@reborn5310 Parsons is an okay banjo player, equally okay on other stringed insts, but obnoxious as hell as a drummer. He rarely goes two bars without some bombastic fills. I prefer his work in the machine shop to his onstage work. Anything with Clarence is alright with me, tho...

Yeah Gene Parsons is a great drummer. And yes he is a great banjo player as well. He's a master of both trades.

Gene Parsons started as a bluegrass player, and only took up the drums to get into playing rock music in the later 60's.
