  • Heavens to Darryl F Zanuck! THANKS for posting! My all time favorite studio opening theme! Have a GROOVY New Year! :)

  • LOVE IT, NICE AND LOUD...One of the BEST SOUNDS because of the deepness of the base ... our cinema screen speakers had a wonderful "rumble" with this AND the early years of the famous fanfare. THANKS from Simon,

  • 4 some reason, this 20th century fox logo reminds me of batman (1966), one of the last movies to use this logo

  • I hope 20th Century Fox never dies! I want them to still be making films in the 22nd century! LOL!

  • i dont think so

  • wtf was that at 0:12

  • owned

  • you hear music in the ending whats this from

  • It sounds like the beginning of Broken Arrow(w/ James Stewart) to me.

  • Dallyx66, you were right

  • @dallyx66 it was weird

  • its called trumpet music. i think it might be be a A or B note :p

  • It does sound weird. It's a beautiful score, though, by Hugo Friedhofer, I think.

Those notes at the beginning are supposed to represent the Apaches in the story, as far as I remember.

  • The definitive Alfred Newman pre-CinemaScope Fox Fanfare.

If this had been the Three-Strip Technicolor version, then (R) would have appeared supered to the bottom right of "Fox".

  • Interesting.

  • Nice quality.

  • looks like 1949

  • Thanks for uploading it.
