I've had this for almost 2yrs now. Like blackzombie mine has had so many falls and survived. While in a crazy dance moment i accidentally fist pumped to hard and it went flying still in complete togetherness. Few scratches but it still works like new even if it has fallen down a flight of stairs...oops. It's good as an mp3 player but yeah you prob shouldnt put it in the washer or dryer... It's really easy to use and it's a cute little thing. Not the best for videos but fantastic for muic&files.

I need help. I was messing with the settings and I messed with the volume limit. It's halfway down. and now that's as loud as it will let me set it at. I tried to put the volume limit back up, but it would only let me set it down lower, which i regretfully did, and now i can barely hear it... PLEASE HELP!

@lovedrreid1 go to settings, then sound options. then go to volume limit and use the volume button on the side and increase it all teh way up, then press the play button and it should set the volume =)

@terrrtaz I said that's what I did, but it wouldn't let me set it higher than halfway, but I fixed it. The prob was that I had it on custom, cause when I changed it to the rock, hiphop, pop, etc on the equalizer, it let me set it higher. Thanks for responding tho.

After solidly googling for a while looking for a solution I've found nothing, was wondering if someone on this video had the same problem I'm having.

Basically, everything plays fine, but for some reason when I go to individual albums it completely mixes up the order and I have no idea why. The order is fine when it is synced to my PC, but as soon as I disconnect it sorts all the tracks under an unknown heading. Everything I've tried has failed, any suggestions?

@ufig101 I don't have this problem. You might want to put all the music you want in a file each and go from there. I find that easier, than just putting them all in at once. This is an amazing Mp3 player! The Bat. life is above average, and the sound quality is just great. Paid only 40 bucks for it, plus the gogear pack in case I need to put it on my belt.

@MrMusicbeast1 Install the converter program that comes on the cd that came with your gogear. Import the video you want to convert. Do all of this with your gogear connected and when the conversion is finished the program will save it to your gogear.

FYI: gogear supports smv file formats.

I just want to let everyone know if your Philips GoGear ViBE is broken I have a few techniques to repair it. If your Philips GoGear ViBE is stuck on the updating process and won't go past 20% (or more) all you have to do is press the reset button, put it in your computer and select "charge & play" and the update should complete. If anything else back up all your files, download the GoGear device manager, make sure your GoGear is off and hold the volume + key and press repair on the device mane'.

If you update the player to he most recent update, the new firmware has a nice feature on the fm radio that displays whats playing in real time and station info.
