Audi A6 2.0 tdi - 2006, driving at 180 km/h with cruise control

i don't think max speed is 215 km/h. i saw many Audi of 2.0 TDI which hits 230 km/h, without cip tuning

@RogerEA919 well, when I reached top speed, rpm was 4k, however it does not move anymore. I asked it to dealer in NL. Answer was; they are electronically limited in NL. But, you right, I see many on youtube that can hits more than 230km/h. I had bmw 320d in the past, max. for it was also around 215 despite power it has still left.

@kdnc88cs I see the red line starts at 4500 (?) rpm. So in NL they don't do more than 4000 rpm?

@RogerEA919 well, it is correct for 7th gear. With lower gears, it was possible to hit 5k. I sold it already and can not test it again.

BTW: I sold it already so can not test it. Thinking to buy bmw 530d or mercedes e280d. Audi was good and I drove around 100k km without any headache. I advise to buy for people who has ? marks about A6.

or audi only reaches 210 km/h and it´s a 2.0 TDI

there is no limiter on a TDI, accept the ones witch can reach 250KM/H and higher. almost all german cars are limited to 250. anything slower than that is reachable.
