Nope, I think next is the Japanese travel back in time to eliminate the founder of the FutureTech Corp. No FutureTech => No Chronosphere => No invasion of Tokyo. Japanese nearly defeated Aliies & the Soviets, BUT Japs have inadvertently spawned a new middle-eastern radical Muslim superpower "The Great World Caliphate" who declared a Jihad against all Soviet Union, Allies, Empire of the Rising Sun. How's that sound?
@recyclomaster I see what you mean, but the thing is, Einstein didn't just kill Hitler, he eliminated his existence in the space-time continuum. So even if they eliminated Einstein before the time when Einstein would have eliminated Hitler, Hitler technically never existed.
You're not just killing someone when you remove them from the space-time continuum, you're erasing their very existence from the past, present, and future, or creating an alternate universe where that person does not exist.
Impossible! Before the nuclear bomb, the US was wiping the Japanese from the Pacific and the Soviets were doing the same in mainland Asia. The Japs would have been beat back to their homeland. If the USSR and USA decided not to invade, Japan would have been blockaded from doing trade with anybody.
Begs the question: Where would they get the metals, petroleum, other resources and money to finance a world war????
Yeah, in OUR timeline the USSR & USA fought TOGETHER! But in RA3 timeline. Soviets and Allies were too busy fighting EACH OTHER. So, the Japanese under the guise conquered the Pacific and East/South East Asia.
@smallville0forever Nice try, weeaboo. A tiny island nation becoming the world's largest superpower with enemies like the US, Great Britain and the USSR?
@tauwilltriumph You know, dismissing Japan because it's a tiny island nation would work better if you didn't compare it with Great Britain, which is smaller. Not saying they WOULD have won, that would be wrong. Just pointing out a flawed argument.
@Tleilaxu0 Not flawed. Great Britain got where they are now through expeditions all around the world, taking riches and settling colonies wherever they went. The xenophobic Japanese would never have done that, unless you count the Sino-Japanese war as a start, and even then, they were far too late to the party. They also had incredibly outdated technology compared to the Europeans, the only way they could have stood a chance was through Westernization.
@Tleilaxu0 Not flawed. Great Britain got where they are now through expeditions all around the world, taking riches and settling colonies wherever they went. The xenophobic Japanese would never have done that, unless you count the Sino-Japanese war as a start, and even then, they were far too late to the party.
@tauwilltriumph Which is why I didn't say they would have won. I was arguing against the "tiny island nation"-thing being a deciding factor, as if landmass alone is the key to victory.
Well, it's obviously that Empire of the Rising Sun was not just Japan. Perhaps, they have conquered vast territories in the Pacific and East Asia while the Soviets and Allies were fighting each other.
i liked the concept the game tried, but found it lacking compared to ra 1 and 2...its actors were poor, it stayed on a single screen back (the soviet one) for mission briefines, there was no map progression...tit couldve being so much better
@darthkarr Please don't tell me you are judging the game by its campaign.

People like you just expect everything of the game to be in the Campaigns, what about the multiplaye gameplay, what about the graphics, what about the soundtracks, and the faction diversities.
The only reason they lost in the canon of RA3 was because they forgot to bring one crucial soldier into the picture, a soldier that would have made the Empire of the Rising Sun invincible: Doraemon!
@TheLionHeart1991 dude, the tsunami tank is cheap to mass produce, and besides, all units in the empire arent weak, just look at the Giga Fortress, and King Oni.
@senast1337 yeah those units have strong armour but they are just too expensive to produce and only Yuriko can take down a Giga Fortress in one blow :D
@lordfalzar@seraphblack it is true that einstein didn't invent the atomic bomb however he discovered that it was possible to make such energy. Encouraged by others he eventually told the president of america at that time of this technology.
So technicaly einstein didn't invent the bomb however he discovered it if you get what ima saying.
I think there is Yuri`s trace in RA 3... So if Einstein is dead Soviet Union crushed Europe by force! The need for any psi technologies just disappeared... I guess Yuri emigrated to the Empire where his talent was in demand... Otherwise, where did psionic Decimator superweapon and psi commando Yuriko came from? By the way in RA 3 Uprising Yuriko also uses mind control. Don`t you find similarities between the names "Yuri"and "Yuriko"?
it how lucky that japan now is the peace country !! they use technology to make a good world !! if they use technology to the badthing .... it may be some trouble XDXD !!
And in their quest to change the future they created a new European superpower: the 4th German Empire led by the Kaiser. In this game of Red Alert the German Empire loses, but the Kaiser and Bismarck go back in time to stop the rise of the Allies, Empire of the Rising Sun, and the Soviets but they didn't know that they would create a new enemy; The African Federation
If Einstein didn't invent the bomb the Soviet Union would likely have controlled Japan... if Japan was free as its made out to be in this i think Germany would be a massive superpower... what happened?
@thugugbob I think since Japan never got nuked they managed to leave WWII intact, IF they negotiated their surrendal instead of going all kamikaze.

@RabidWeaselStudio Meh, hard for us to judge, considering that in real life we managed to let a hand full of passenger jets get hijacked, fly hundreds of miles off course even though they had GPS transponders tracking their every movement, then smack into our largest buildings in one of our most populated cities in the country with one of our larger military bases near by, as well as one crashing into the center for our military command, something you would think was decently guarded.
When I first saw this, I was like OMFG, Japan is gonna rape everyone with a army that size and magnitude. =D
Too bad once I got into the gameplay and found out that the RS faction is not actually that great. Their main tanks are horrible, their main air power is costly, but still sucks against Allies and Soviets, and lastly their infantries are mediocre at best. Their only saving grace is their naval and the campaign only Shogun Executioner. So much for nano tech. >.<
another thing to point out....even withou einstein..the nuclear bomb program wouldve happened....he wasnt realyl that important to it..he helped yes, but in the long run...the tech wouldve still being developed...probaly later but not by much
@ImaJosha it doesnt make any sense..seeing as alot fo the tech featured in the game series would require a basic understand of nuclear physics...and without the bomb alot fo modern tech, woldnt exsist today..wed be behind ourselves
That really is one HUGE army. But you know, I think that's just 1 camp. Because they're is a lot of stuff not there that you see in the game....like high tech mexicans with lazors.
@WindyPower its supposed to represent the sun..is a very very ancient interepreation..usualyl as a red circle with red lines coming from it...in this case it represents the whole empire of the rising sun, as the sun rises in the east and as a metaphor for the expansion of japanese power
@WindyPower yes, just a bit. The sun mean the ''rising sun'' and the double trident mean the weapon of the god of the sea: Poséidon. So its mean the pacific ocean.
@WindyPower funny enough though i have found similar markings on japanese family emblems (kind of like the coat of arms used in europe, and they usually do have a special meaning, as far as i know at least over 4000 thousand of these are known to exist and also can also give you an estimate of the families back ground) guess they didn't want to use anything prominent like the imperial families emblem to avoid contraversies
@WindyPower actually, it's only a couple of brush strokes away from the chinese/japanese symbol for "sun", which features in the chinese and japanese names for the nation of Japan. I believe the symbol is based on that. If you look at ancient chinese - the symbol is much closer to the one you see there on the flag than it is actually written now.
Thats a bit rediculous...the allies diddnt need the nuke, Japan was already loosing, history wouldnt change much, we would just have taken more casualties. It would still have been defeated....

No Hitler= Multiple wars against a heavy weapons and Tesla armed Soviet Union
No Einstein= A war against an anime tech, samurai armed Japan
What's next, the Allies go back in time to kill Stalin (or Lenin), and a New Imperial Germany replaces the USSR?

another thing to point out....even withou einstein..the nuclear bomb program wouldve happened....he wasnt realyl that important to it..he helped yes, but in the long run...the tech wouldve still being developed...probaly later but not by much
darthkarr 1 year ago
@darthkarr Agreed. Which is why the Allies still managed to have their Chronosphere and Mirage tank technology in this game.

i like how without einstein they had more high tech stuff such as huge robots and things that can transform into something else
ImaJosha 1 year ago
@ImaJosha it doesnt make any sense..seeing as alot fo the tech featured in the game series would require a basic understand of nuclear physics...and without the bomb alot fo modern tech, woldnt exsist today..wed be behind ourselves

That really is one HUGE army. But you know, I think that's just 1 camp. Because they're is a lot of stuff not there that you see in the game....like high tech mexicans with lazors.

what is that symbol on japanese flag?
johnsoncuiChina 1 year ago
@johnsoncuiChina It's the symbol of the Japanese army in Red Alert, I don't think it has any special meaning.
WindyPower 1 year ago 5
@WindyPower its supposed to represent the sun..is a very very ancient interepreation..usualyl as a red circle with red lines coming from it...in this case it represents the whole empire of the rising sun, as the sun rises in the east and as a metaphor for the expansion of japanese power
darthkarr 1 year ago
@WindyPower isnt it the rising sun flag [in real life]
44centz 1 year ago
@WindyPower yes, just a bit. The sun mean the ''rising sun'' and the double trident mean the weapon of the god of the sea: Poséidon. So its mean the pacific ocean.
Sorry for my english.
charlesgsqc 1 year ago
@WindyPower
Empire of the rising sun, the flag is a rising sun.
shutup735 1 year ago
@WindyPower funny enough though i have found similar markings on japanese family emblems (kind of like the coat of arms used in europe, and they usually do have a special meaning, as far as i know at least over 4000 thousand of these are known to exist and also can also give you an estimate of the families back ground) guess they didn't want to use anything prominent like the imperial families emblem to avoid contraversies
Necrodermis 1 year ago
@WindyPower
you are wrong it means the sun,is the empire of the rising sun and it has a sun with a japanese sign as flag
Riael1111 1 year ago
@WindyPower dude half of tha symbol of the japan flag of this game is reall it was the japanese empire around the 40's they just change it a lil
gta386 1 year ago
@WindyPower
Its "Yamato" symbol.
Vojtechjan 1 year ago
@WindyPower actually, it's only a couple of brush strokes away from the chinese/japanese symbol for "sun", which features in the chinese and japanese names for the nation of Japan. I believe the symbol is based on that. If you look at ancient chinese - the symbol is much closer to the one you see there on the flag than it is actually written now.

Thats a bit rediculous...the allies diddnt need the nuke, Japan was already loosing, history wouldnt change much, we would just have taken more casualties. It would still have been defeated....
