To smoooth22, I posted this video, the video took place at around 2pm, roughly 3 hours prior to game time, we had to leave the local bars and pubs because several of them ran out of bottled beer. Twas a sad day, so we got a taxi to take us to the gas station to fill up on beer, the gas station was out of ice and cold beer, so being real Dawg fans, we sat out in the sun in a parking lot and drank hot beer cuz us UGA fans will you drink you west coast punks out of house and home! Keep it honest!
Why did you think you were going to be able to get ice and refrigerated beer at 2 pm on a Saturday before a game? Especially at a gas station, versus a liquor store. I thought y'all were about preparation. And I don't believe that warm beer stuff. Everyone knows Georgians are brown water people.
Hey boss I'm no punk and I'm definitely not from the west coast(grew up on SEC football). The parking lots at ASU don't open up till 3 hours before kickoff which sucks. I have a private lot pass and tailgating is pretty awesome in my lot but I have no doubt that it's a bigger deal in Georgia. I plan on heading out to Athens and I fully expect to have a great time. I'm an ASU fan but I have to admit this vid is funny. ASU fans, and probably pac10 fans in general, arent as rabid about their football as teams from the south are. Plus the UNLV loss the week before probably took alot of excitement out of this game. If you cant beat UNLV at home, how the fuck you gonna beat UGA? Hopefully ASU is more competetive this year in Athens. With Stafford and Moreno gone, maybe ASU has a chance. I dunno.
Again...I have been tailgating at ASU for years and everything you just mentioned is BS. What probably happened,,, you were thrown out of a bar for being an obvious dick and they just told you they ran out of bottled beer.
Not anywhere near the tailgating sections or parking lots. This is the freaking line to get into the student section. These poor kids were standing in line for hours in hot temps. The truth is that many tailgaters don't come out till later in the season when it cools down because there is no grass to tailagate on. Just hot blacktop. The real fun is at the local bars and pubs not taunting a bunch of freshman who have been caming out forever in the heat.
My buddy and I flew out to this game, and were stunned at the lack of ASU pre-game activities. We got to the 'downtown' area at like 11:00, and it was at least 95% Dawg people. No tailgates anywhere. How sad. I guess we're spoiled in the SEC. Pac-10 people have NO idea what they're missing..
Why don't the Gators come out and play with some PAC-10 teams? I have been married to a Gator for 22 years and remember consoling her for many seasons in the past while ASU was consistantly a top 10 team. We will be back... last year sucked.
I would like to see more Pac 10/ SEC matchups. Their are 3 this year though. LSU vs Washington, Arizona St vs Georgia and Tennessee vs UCLA. I think Tennessee plays Oregon next year.
Unfortunately for the PAC-10, you are catching (3) teams which are either bad or trying to recover... It would be better (this year) to play, Oregon, OSU, Cal or obviously USC. I do think ASU may surprise Georgia... UGA is "fat, dumb and happy" while the Sun Devils will be pissed-off.
I really don't see any of the Pac 10 teams winning, but 1 may surprise. I think it will have to be UCLA and Tennessee. Washington may hang in for a while being the first game and at home against LSU. Georgia will be better than most think.

You could have walked 15 feet to your right and all over the for miles to find awesome tailgating. To smoooth22, I posted this video, the video took place at around 2pm, roughly 3 hours prior to game time, we had to leave the local bars and pubs because several of them ran out of bottled beer. Twas a sad day, so we got a taxi to take us to the gas station to fill up on beer, the gas station was out of ice and cold beer, so being real Dawg fans, we sat out in the sun in a parking lot and drank hot beer cuz us UGA fans will you drink you west coast punks out of house and home! Keep it honest!

Hey boss I'm no punk and I'm definitely not from the west coast(grew up on SEC football). The parking lots at ASU don't open up till 3 hours before kickoff which sucks. I have a private lot pass and tailgating is pretty awesome in my lot but I have no doubt that it's a bigger deal in Georgia. I plan on heading out to Athens and I fully expect to have a great time. Just curious as to what bars you went to?. Dos Gringos leads the world in corona consumption. Sorry you had a bad experience..

I'm an ASU fan but I have to admit this vid is funny. ASU fans, and probably pac10 fans in general, arent as rabid about their football as teams from the south are. Plus the UNLV loss the week before probably took alot of excitement out of this game. If you cant beat UNLV at home, how the fuck you gonna beat UGA? Hopefully ASU is more competetive this year in Athens. With Stafford and Moreno gone, maybe ASU has a chance. I dunno.

Not anywhere near the tailgating sections or parking lots. This is the freaking line to get into the student section. These poor kids were standing in line for hours in hot temps. The truth is that many tailgaters don't come out till later in the season when it cools down because there is no grass to tailagate on. Just hot blacktop. The real fun is at the local bars and pubs not taunting a bunch of freshman who have been caming out forever in the heat.

My buddy and I flew out to this game, and were stunned at the lack of ASU pre-game activities. We got to the 'downtown' area at like 11:00, and it was at least 95% Dawg people. No tailgates anywhere. How sad. I guess we're spoiled in the SEC. Pac-10 people have NO idea what they're missing..

Why don't the Gators come out and play with some PAC-10 teams? I have been married to a Gator for 22 years and remember consoling her for many seasons in the past while ASU was consistantly a top 10 team. We will be back... last year sucked.

I would like to see more Pac 10/ SEC matchups. Their are 3 this year though. LSU vs Washington, Arizona St vs Georgia and Tennessee vs UCLA. I think Tennessee plays Oregon next year.

Unfortunately for the PAC-10, you are catching (3) teams which are either bad or trying to recover... It would be better (this year) to play, Oregon, OSU, Cal or obviously USC. I do think ASU may surprise Georgia... UGA is "fat, dumb and happy" while the Sun Devils will be pissed-off.

I really don't see any of the Pac 10 teams winning, but 1 may surprise. I think it will have to be UCLA and Tennessee. Washington may hang in for a while being the first game and at home against LSU. Georgia will be better than most think.
