I bought this album as soon as it came out, and this was my favourite song. Last track on side 2. Still love it now. At the time I was doing O Levels, and my English teacher gave me a book to read called Brighton Rock by Graham Greene. Kolly Kibber was the journalist who is killed by Pinkie Brown in chapter one.
i only hint at one fact: for parts of this track he must have listened to elements of more than half of electronic 70s (german & other) avantgarde, though then he doesn´t do it exactly like that. i would not dare say what many enormous influences are woven inside this.........
ingenious from beginning to end (is there an end? - such tracks show us what music is all about). revealing to me inside a very low phase of otherwise very happy 80s that there´s something beyond it all.

At this point, I discovered that psychedelic did not mean wah-wahs and hippy lyrics. This album is 3D!
