@jkarani Nah, the Borg would win if only because inside those moving tin cans there is a biological life form...well, such as it can be called a life form. Since it's biological, though, the Borg could assimilate it...them....he....she/we? Anyway, once one Dalek gets assimilated (however that happens) then the rest is only a matter of time. In the end the Borg would win. They adapt much better than the Daleks, who run and teleport into time at the first sign of trouble.

Ha ha! When I was a kid, I bought a BBC Dr Who annual at the BBC staff fete at Motspur park sports ground. And in that annual was full construction plans with material source instructions for a working full size Dalek. These were blueprints to make one exactly the same as the BBC props. The spheres on the sides were toilet cistern ballcocks cut in half!

My personal Favorite Dalek is the Black and Grey Dalek, First Appeared in The Pertwee era episode Day of the Daleks. The Actors must have built in Ring modulatores inside the Dalek cases

I have to honestly say, being an American, Daleks have to be one of the coolest villains of any TV series or movie I have ever seen. It is not so much how they are designed, as how they respond to their enemies. I love their verbal responses, as they are quite witty, as well as the way they can take on millions with only a few Daleks. American film makers and TV show creators could take a lesson just from the Daleks alone.
