  • how much does it cost to record in abbey roads?... sounds epic

  • Hey Rob, I know you aren't in the black hand anymore but I fucking love these songs because of your guitar work. Is there anyway I can get a copy of these tracks with you on it?

  • So i guess this place isn't around any more eh?

  • Where can i get hold of an old ep or album with this music on? its catchy as hell!

  • AAH !!! I want to record my first solo album there :D !!!

  • you look so much cooler with long hair...as always our MonkeyLord puts us to shame with his amazing skillz...but yet still finds time to help us pagan monkeys become better guitarists.....how does he do it?

  • Rob, might be a bit of a silly question but are you tuned in Standard?

  • Eb mate - and sometimes dropped D ;-)

  • why did Rob leave the band? i missed a lot!

  • I wrote all the material and decided to take it solo - "Monkey Lord" was born.

  • @RobChappers

i really dont like that singer, when i here his voice and then i here your voice there is no comparison.

  • NOO the vocalist!!! :(((((((

  • i no he sucks balls

  • hey chappers, what editing software do u use for your videos?

  • Hi mate, I use Sony Vegas :-)

  • @RobChappers SAME !!

  • So cool!

  • Where can I buy the Black Hand's albums? (I don't see them on iTunes... :(

I really want Cities Will Burn!!!

  • I left this band and the music is no longer available on Itunes. Email me for details on the CD

  • oh and i forgot to ask : your music sounds nice ! any myspace page ?

  • That singer sounds SO Robert Plant-y at 2:16.

  • Was there a way to do both this and the new metal project simultaneously?? This sounds like good stuff.

  • No I don't think it's pro to spread yourself too thin... I already do 14 hour days with my 5 other musical projects ;-)

  • You know best, chief.

  • Holy crap, how did you get into doing all that as a career? like how did you move from school to doing what youre doing now? maybe that make a good video, your story :)

  • Hmmm good idea mate, I'll think about it :-)

  • hey mate ! i'd really love to know how you make a living out of music because ... i truly admire people that do that and that's my dream !

  • You really should make that video that would be great. When you get a chance of course. I would imagine the life of the monkey lord can be busy at times.

  • yes, your story would make a great video! ;-)

  • I think me and my band probably need to change our name now...The Black Hand is clearly already used...

  • Sorry man... I know how hard it is to find a band name. What kind of stuff do you play?

  • Its kinda turning into a real straight up rock sound. Its in the completly developmental stages at this point...a little spacey, i mean, we got Keyboards and stuff...

  • I would have taken this as useful critique, but then I heard your music

  • Ironic that you're talking about originality when your band is the same metallic drivel that's been done to death over and over again.

  • Couldn't agree more Fireteam. There's a reason his (rattleheadxvi) album is called "State of Suffering." My ears were suffering.

    Rock on Rob.

  • Cheers buddy :-)

  • Thanks mate, I appreciate this :-)

  • shit...the band i just formed...we named ourselves the black hand...

  • Ha ha can't blame you mate, it's a cool ass name!

  • Yeah Eddie is great, he is over in Sept to recod an album with us :-)

  • TT in the studio. NICE

Dunno If I like the singer, probably sounds alot better with music.

  • My favourite studio so many legends including Beatles to Black Hand

  • Eddie Kramer!!!! I mean it's Eddie Kramer!!! WOW!! You guys rock!! Good to see Eddie getting into it and laying down a shaker track! One criticism...why no cowbell in this video?????

  • Cheers Mr skin spanker! :-)

  • I say you were nervous playing in front of Eddie?

  • Yeah I was a bit, but I soon felt better when I discovered he was mental like me :-)

  • Cheers mate, I record with PRS guitars SC245 normally but I did use a Custom 24 on "Super Hand" :-)

  • Cheers Deestra :-)

  • What an amazing time that must have been. The songs sound great too.

A question on tone...How are you achieving the tone for the lead at 2:09? What is it about that sound that I love so much?

  • Thanks Semach, glad you like the tunes. My lead sound comes from running a Tiny Terror and a Rockerverb 50 together and blending them through the desk :-)
