The other option is that the door sensoirs got extremely mucky and needed cleaning and as such the doors weren't happy to clode, as they thought there was something blocking the doors, this happened once on another lift, and as soon the sensor was wiped it solved the problen.
Oh my this thing is ****** up, this is EPIC FAIL! You only find this issue on Schindler of course. At least it finally closed, it didnt have nudge mode turned on.

an older Westinghouse did that but it had not rear door and the door opened and closed non stop, I think thats why they just modernized it
