Its not 300 thats for sure. It takes an NHRA top fuel drag car less than 4 seconds to run the 1/4 at 300+. This thing takes 5 seconds so there is no way. 245MPH 270 tops

The boxes in the middle of the track are the reflectors for the timing lights. After the car gets out a ways the first one is the 330', then the next 2 are the ones for the 660' (1/8 mile). The single one after that is the 1000' timing light, and then the last two are the 1/4 mile speed trap & finish line. Have you idiots ever been down a dragstrip ? If the car isn't going 300 it's pretty close at the end -- and it is a 1/4 mile run !!!!!

You get a very good sense of the speed when the camera is showing the back of the car going downtrack. It's damn fast. I don't know how fast but I'm willing to bet over 250 mph for sure. Look at the ads on the wall as the car passes them. They are there and then gone.

@jessegarcia121 sorry but your wrong... the camera is a gopro cam and it works wonders. if you look at the front tires on the roll up you can see them spin.. during burner pops( when it goes boom boom boom) you will not see them spin due to me standing on the brackes trying to hold the car back.. when the video shows the back of the car the back tires do the same.. and on the last of the roll up you can see a small flat spot on the back tires due to the slide with the brakes on...

The third box 1/8 mile speed the one behind it collects 1/8 mile times. Then there is a box that collects 1000 foot times. and finally at the 1/4 mile there are two boxes that collect you guessed it the speed then times at the 1/4 mile. This is a complete 1/4 mile pass. 044047, it really depends which type of engine this thing is running. Gas turbine engines typically transmit their power through a driveshaft/chain/belt, whicher, to where the power created can be measured in torque, not thrust. These gas turbines are setup to run very low amounts of thrust, they essentially are a type of rotary engine, if you get what I mean.

Then there's the jet/gas turbine engines that operate a vehicle with thrust, they're usually huge, typically only seen in airplanes.
