  • This isnt translated well.

  • aww that little boy is cute..poor little guy..

  • I love those X-shaped staves to ward off imaginary invading paratroopers.

  • like india

  • What I find funny about this video is what the translators left out...Most of these people are complaining not about the communist regime, but about the fall of it AFTER the 90's, that is concerning the goverment today..today, this false democracy they have is shit, frankly America is not helping, it's all crappy propaganda and I really hope they never join the E.U., that would be horror...But I guess this is what this video is, plain propaganda trying to demean the former goverment..the usual.

  • Look at the education system during that time everyone was required to attend school nowadays you have students bribing their way through school by paying off the professors so that they could pass the class even if they don’t know a single thing about the subject being taught at hand.

  • Now granted Enver Hoxha wasn’t the greatest person in the world and he made mistakes like everyone else does but he also wasn’t the worst person in the world either. During his leadership the state guaranteed several services to the people such as free healthcare, free education and there was no taxation. Look at how Albania is now high unemployment during that time there was no unemployment the state guaranteed a job for everyone.

  • @FriedrichHeinrich what??? no taxation? shure. with what should people pay the taxes? they had no money. lol.

no unemployment? do u have any idea how much money people earned? they used to eat meat once in a month.

people had to wake up at 4 a.m and stand in the row for eggs and milk...... for hours.

  • @realrv6 Ask all of our grandparents and parents and most of them will tell you that they prefered communism to what it is today, this fake "democracy"..I'm 18 yrs old, raised in America for the past 15 yrs of my life, and I prefer Communism...These Americans are taught that "COMMUNISM IS EVIL. BEWAREE!!" from the second they are born, and so they automatically start out with this biased perception even though they have no idea what it's about...complete bullshit to be quite honest.

  • @purealba01 po te pergjigjem ne shqip meqe qenke "purealba".

ti i ke pyetur gjysherit dhe prinderit e tu dhee te kane thene qe preferojne komunizmin ndaj pseudodemokracise se sotme?

ta dish qe as 5% e shqiptareve nuk mendojne keshtu. njerezit qe shohin komunizmin me nostalgji jane ata qe e kishin by**en ngrohte dhe barkun plot nderkohe qe populli jetonte ne varferi ekstreme.

  • @purealba01 You are correct and it is very difficult to break the capitalist brainwashing. But, it IS possible. Never lose sight that the proletarian revolution will one day achieve ultimate victory.

  • @purealba01 : Well go to Cuba it's very close to USA so you don't have to go too far away either. I think you are confusing the idea of socialism and/or communism with the one that was implemented in our country. They are completely two different things because we didn't build socialism but a dictatorship. The dictatorship it's never good or better, whether it is a right or left one. Lucky you're just 18 year old and you didn't have to live that.

  • @purealba01

So why don´t you move to a communist country? There are still a choices. North Korea, Cuba, Belarus... simply wonderful places. No need for you to suffer under that horrible capitalism.

  • @purealba01 it is bullshit but u wouldnt wanna be living in a communist system either u really dont know

what u trying to say both systems are bad

  • @FriedrichHeinrich Ask all of our grandparents and parents and most of them will tell you that they prefered communism to what it is today, this fake "democracy"..I'm 18 yrs old, raised in America for the past 15 yrs of my life, and I prefer Communism...These Americans are taught that "COMMUNISM IS EVIL. BEWAREE!!" from the second they are born, and so they automatically start out with this biased perception even though they have no idea what it's about...complete bullshit to be quite honest.

  • @FriedrichHeinrich AMEN, Brother! Long Live Enver Hoxha!!! Albania is a hell hole now unless you have money and head up some organized crime syndicate or other.

  • @FriedrichHeinrich

"During his leadership the state guaranteed several services to the people such as free healthcare, free education and there was no taxation"

You could say the same about North Korea. Or about Zimbabwe. When a bankrupt dictatorship "guarantees" you something, that does not mean you actually get it in any meaningful form.

It is simply a word game.

  • It should be noted and corrected in this documentary that on the video from 4:54 to 5:01 where it says that Enver Hoxha forced people every family to build their own bunkers is completely false no civilian was forced to build the bunkers. The bunkers themselves were built by the military of the People’s Socialist Republic of Albania and not by the civilian population in addition it wasn’t one million bunkers more like 750,000 bunkers were built.

  • @FriedrichHeinrich Thank you..I hate how they always try to demean former Albania and it's goverment in these documentarys..they always make such crucial mistakes such as this.."forced" makes it sound extremely harsh when it wasn't...I don't think anyone who hasn't seen both sides should be able to judge in the first place...Yes, there were some bad things about the former regime, but there were also MANY good things about it as well =)
