its not great to be a 1999 car, its okej or acceptable. im sure this didn´t get 5 stars in 1999. Look on a volvo from 1999 and you will se whats great..

Maybe I'm wrong, but it got five stars, and the 1999 model, (we have one at home) got four stars at the time, and it was quite good back in 2000, when we brought it.

And the price of a Volvo, is much more, than a Renault Scenic, I assume. The more you pay, the more safety/performance/comfort features you get.

But I get your point, Volvos indeed are very safe cars.
