i was scared when i heard of this, the first thing i thought was "oh shit, another twishit spinoff or just like it." but i payed alittle closer attention and this looks pretty good, and since this is the last vampire phase before werewolfs become the new thing, this looks really good, good enough to wash twishit from everyone's mouth and mind.

You know what I think? All of you just need to shut the hell up! Who cares if there are differences from the books!? All movies do that. Lord of the Rings, despite its length, wasn't the same as the books either! I've read all 12 Cirque books and loved them, and this movie actually looks pretty good. I've read that even Darren Shan liked the movie. So just stop bitching about it and be glad the movie has even been made!!

I saw the trailer first, friends said it was going to be like Eragon (director didn't care about the original fans who read the book) so I read the books (still am) to see where the director f**ked up and didn't pay attention. read the books to see how it is *REALLY* supposed to be, please.

looks stupid. i read the books when i was in middle school and i liked em, ive moved on to better books. however i am disappointed by the previews of this movie the little green guys are supposed to be grotesque and horrid not cute and mr creepsley is supposed to be mostly bald not a fricking stupid fro. and they are making it more of a comedy movie.... just what the world needs another fricking sucky vampire movie just like twilight. twilight sucks to. what has happened to cinema........

I really want to see this movie. It seems hilarious. I hate it when they completely change the movies. Like in Harry Potter and Twilight- they screw everything up. BUt this is going to be a lot funnier that twilight. Maybe they are in their own way making fun of it. What d'you guys think??

Well. That's certainly a loose interpretation, noting that the book's genre was horror, and the movie seems to want to be comedy. But: question: who would go up to a random stranger and sya, hey, wanna be a vampire? ANd why would anyone say yes to that? It's kind of like saying, "Hey, little boy. You want some candy?"

Demonata movie would rock! But it would be rated R due to all the gore, but since it's a teenagers book they'd want to make it PG-13 so they would remove the gore and make the demons less scary, making it suck.
