I'm an Buddhist-agnostic-deist but sometimes I ask myself when you die what happens and what happens after that and that and so forth I mean even if God exists (And I'm not saying he doesn't) and heaven does as well, you live a good life and go to heaven I mean wouldn't being in everlasting joy eventually get boring? wouldn't you prefer to "take a journey" and explore more on what it means to "exist"?. I don't know this is just a though of course.

As far as I could tell, science continues to find answers in regards to our origins. Although I'm certain that known and unknown natural factors and processes made it possible for humans to emerge, I'm equally suspicious that these specific natural factors and processes ultimately became anthropomorphous or personified characters in every culture in the world. Mythical beings, animals, monsters and even gods were created my humans to make sense of the unknown by simplifying natural complexity.
These discussions will never conclude as your entire beliefs are based on nothing, and therefore everthing has been answered, you must know that to be inherently wrong, i live in a world of the predominantley unknown, but its a world of truth which is the only way i can live my life.
Its also no coincidence that since our technological/scientific development not one occurance of divine action or existence has EVER been recorded in any way, its as simple and obvious as that. When we see a complex system with a specific function in nature, say a space shuttle, you will automatically infer that it was designed by an intelligence. I'm an Buddhist-agnostic-deist but sometimes I ask myself when you die what happens and what happens after that and that and so forth I mean even if God exists (And I'm not saying he doesn't) and heaven does as well, you live a good life and go to heaven I mean wouldn't being in everlasting joy eventually get boring? wouldn't you prefer to "take a journey" and explore more on what it means to "exist"?. When we see a complex system with a specific function in nature, say a space shuttle, you will automatically infer that it was designed by an intelligence. I would imagine if you woke up one day and found a space craft in your backyard you would chalk it up to intelligence and not to time and chance.

@iamdk007 You either have very little knowledge of the Bible or are reading some other version of the Bible that noone has ever heard of. The Quran confirms previous revelation ie the torah and the injeel of Jesus. Today, what may seem like the book of jesus is fundermentaly not so. Although the Bible may contain some words of Allah that muslims can agree with, which may also answer why some 'predictions were accurate.

@iamdk007 But it also contains mistakes, unfullifiled prophecies, countless misjudgements on the basis of established science, lies of prophets, mocking of prophets, contradictions. The list can go on.
It is also incumbent to note that the Bible in its nature, is very very strange. You would think the Bible has authentic roots. But it is quite the contrary. The Bible is basically formed by books that are ' dubiuos' and some which have no prood of identity ie where and who it came down from.

@iamdk007 Remember, there were 20,000 manuscripts of the Bible. NOT 2 were even identicle. The Bible was formed after the council of Nicea wereby it seems like it was 'handpicked' (out of the 20,000) which book was to be in the Bible. Many books were thrown out. Books which had no mention of Jesus being divine or his ressurection.

They only thing that keeps it afloat is that its tax-supported. Creationists and Evolutionists look at the same evidence with different interpretations only Evolution has made many false claims to support itself. @itzahazylife It's not that same because micro-evolution has been studied and can be scientifically observed. Macro-evolution has not been observed. The Bible says that animals can produce after their kind. Fossils don't show completely different kinds of animals so called "evolving" into new kinds of animals. Macro-evolution wants you to believe that billions of years ago you evolved from bacteria. Evolution can't even explain how the bacteria got there.

That doesn't prove mammals evolved from fish, and the humans evolved from apes. You ask your questions as if what the Bible says is outrageous. I think its outrageous that monkey's "evolved" into humans, and when i ask for proof for that, most of the evidence presented now and in the past has been fraudulent. What about Piltdown man? Kent Hovind points out a lot of the bad science supporting evolution in his seminars.

It's the foundation of reverence. It's the most profound theological concept. It's the evidence all around you, but you have to drop the ego to see it and know it. The first step to seeing is humility--probably another word with deep religious concept that you'll need to look up. Humility and grace--one sees the other.
