yeah lovebirds can be verry aggresive to other birds, my bro has a lovebird, and my sis has this big cage with lots of diffrent birds in it. so my bro decided to give his lovebird to my sis so she was not alone anymore. soon the lovebird began to attack the other birds and tried to be the boss you know. she went so far that she broke a leg from one of the birds. the bird with the broken leg is cured now. in time, the broken leg fell off and now it's a one legged bird.

calm down! when a bird is closing his eye that means a sign of peace for love birds! when the fidjet around u just squat down and blink ur eyes for 2 seconds and talk to him softly. but if this is not what the answer is contact a vet to advise or help you is the process go to ur nearest vet.
@onurthecrow how are your lovebird? yes it could be illness... do you know the men that make surgeries on pets? they're called "veterinaries" why you dont talk to these men?

ive had my peach faced love bird for over 14rs... ive never been able to figure out if its a he or a she.... but ive always wondered obviously... anyone have any idea how to tell??? ive tried to look up a way to figure it out but havent found anything... ive heard from some sources it requires surgery to determine sex for these birds and im not putting he/she through that.
Actually in lovebirds, coloration is not an indicator of gender, they are very difficult to tell the gender of and most of the time they haveto have a dna test to determine the sex of them, otherwise a simpler test can be done by an experienced lovebird handler/breeder/vet, etc on the pelvic bone to determine the sex.
Actually i did my resarch on lovebirds before purchasing one, and spoke to all the breeders i could and the vets. I may not have a degree but ive enough information to keep my lovebird safe and healthy. But this vid is sooo touching, especially with the music the person picked to be played with it. Soo cute. ^_^

the male is usually the most bright coloured, while the female is darker. that goes for the green type (this video) and my own birds. ;)
