You guys are weak wit all this HIP HOP is dead shit. Its not the artists or the record companies, its the consumer that has changed. If this shit wasn't selling the artists wouldn't make it, simple as that. If everyone would stop buying this bubble gum hip hop shit, the artists would be forced to change their music.
When it comes to content hip hop is dead and you right consumers are a big part but the record exec's control content. what gets played so consumer doesn't really have a choice but to listen to artist cuz that's what's on television that's what commercialized!!!!See what I'm sayin!!!!
Not really... i mean i do. But the record executives think business. If the consumer didn't want to purchase, or listen to the shit that's "hot" they wouldn't. Comparable to the car business. If the No1 car wasn't in demand they wouldn't make it. Hybrid cars, the technology has been there for years but the demand has not. The music is run on a strictly on a demand basis. Exec's dont shell out millions of dollars "hoping" the consumer will buy it. It just doesn't work that way. See what im sayin?
why dudes always start their videos saying "a what it do, know what im talking bout?"
