God, I love her. She's just so elegant and graceful, something Shawn lacks on beam. They're my two absolute favorite gymnasts.

I have now seen the WCSN version with Shawn allegedly jumping with joy as Nastia falls and she is obviously warming up for floor. Shawn is not even looking when Nastia falls. SMI i am not sure why you feel it necessary for these comments but even a blind person can see she is genuinely just warming up for her next routine. They may not be best mates but from this video the comments you made are simply exaggerated.

Talk about a flair for the drama. And what's this? The baseless accusation comes from good ol' SMI - that's shocking! Shawn TOTALLY appeared to be staying warm for floor, and I would bet money that she didn't even see Nastia's fall when it happened.

Just because you want to win doesn't mean you want your competitors to fail - any real athlete would know that.

Look at the video closely, Shawn and her Chinese coach are looking at the beam and as soon as Nastia falls Shawn starts jumping up and down, and the coach say something in Chinese with a smile to Shawn which she understands.

Damn it, Nastia. I really wanted her to win...but still, fifth in the world is pretty good, with a fall, consdering her performance just weeks ago at the Nationals. I hope she's back in full form for Beijing...I really like her style compared to that cheeky chipmunk Johnson. PLEASE don't let another Patterson-like gymnast win over a lean, graceful one...
