  • Cool workout just your breathing technique is far of there bud. Might suggest Smaller weights because seems Like your having trouble with that little weight and slooooooow down. Your only thinking your working harder when in reality your just wasting your time.

  • Very good video, but I think you would find this interesting. Dr. Stuart Mcgill is an absolute genius when it comes to the spine and I think you should check out some of his writing. Some of the stuff you're doing can be detrimental to the back over time, but I do like them haha.

  • Dude, learn how to breath while you do core exercises. Another important point, do them very slow, that is the point of it, the speed has to be REALLY SLOW in order to work the core. Thanks.

  • @gauravgijoe If you don't have medecine ball, you can also use a plate (like the saxon bend exercice), a dumbell, cable or resistance band variants. Your muscle don't care if you are using a dumbell or a brand new medecine ball, all it need is a resistance and a good form.

  • He is not out of breath. It is a technique used to exert more energy, just like moaning in tennis.

  • I'm not a professional, but I believe your not suppose to hold your breathe while doing exercises or pause, your suppose to breathe in your nose and out through your mouth and use your stomach while doing it instead of your chest.

  • @epinator All these different exercises focus on all the different muscles within your core. Plus when you do situps everyday your body gets used to it and is less affected by it. By switching it up and using different exercises your body doesn't have time to adapt and is constantly working.

  • @epinator its like if you bench press 200 pounds, at the start, you will feel it and your arms will be quite tired and will grow but after a few weeks you get used to it, and although you will still improve on your arms if you do higher reps, results wont be as fast. aswell as the fact the the core is multiple muscles, and situps dont target them all.

  • @fanfan2812 correct but some ppl dont have those things at there house ...and how usful is a punching bag?..id figure progression for accruacy...but strength idk about that, although there many uses for a bag rather then just punching...we all have chair prob but .. you could stand rather then sit...you could even goto a play ground and do alkinds of variations for core and upper body training..i see where your getting at..all im saying is, there is Convetional workingout and new diverse styles

  • @Gokuthe1 i was told that not everyone is able to get a 8 pack, apparently it has something to do with genetics but i could be wrong maybe u should just try new exercises

  • @Gokuthe1 you're in my boat dude gettin from nothing to a 6 pack taes like any time between 2 weeks - 2 months depending on effort being put in. After that it's extremely hard to get an 8 pack from 6 bro.... you gotta do more advanced workouts.

  • Vince take some Paul Chek courses if you want to know more then just the name of the muscles. Learn about diaphragmatic breathing, lower abdominals, tummy vacuums.

  • This is a great video. But, Vince's breathing is a bit off. I worry about people who have never done core trying these exercises - honestly, theses are for people who are experienced. Beginners should try and find a "beginner" core vid.

    I FIND THAT YOU SHOULD ALSO SHOW HOW TO BREATH PROPERLY

    1- NEVER HOLD BREATH

    and as far as posible

    2- EXHALE WHEN CONCENTRIC/POSITIVE (wether pulling or pushing)

    3- INHALE WHEN ECCENTRIC/NEGATIVE

    The video should be labeled "What not to do if you want a strong core"

    Exercise 1 - There is much better exercises that focus on just your core to replace this one

    Exercise 2 - Good but feet beside eachother and keep your legs straight

    Exercise 3 - That is not an exercise, it's a mocking of farmers or penguins

    Exercise 4 - Contractions are better than extenxions with core so bring your foot and hand together

  • His breathing is way off. It would be much more productive of a work out if you are breathing properly. Out when you are lifting the weight, and don't hold your breath.

    I don't want to criticize him but I totallyagree with you. The technique looks great and he obviously knows his stuff, but holding his breath is not correct.

  • How can it when the job of Rectus abdominus and int/ext obliques is flexion. Where is the resistance coming from with the med ball wood chops? The large majority of resistance is in extension(only slight resistance with flexion as you are working with gravity)

  • @agentpaperman It's called proper workout management. Breathing out is a technique to loosen you muscles and make them more relaxed. Also you keep your strength longer and can do more reps.

  • @dantra007 No. You breathe out to stabilize your core muscles while lifting so as to protect your spine, and to make sure you're not holding your breath.

  • @NeverForgotN Running is part of speed training,not cardio. Burpees, Star Jumps or anything else at high intensity are "cardio"
