I think it likely that the rude and harshest critiques are written by people who can't get their butts out of the barcalounger long enough to do something constructive themselves.

1]There's not enough room to instruct by word.

2] It can't be done that way- it needs coaching on the spot.

3] Video is an adjunct, not a viable teaching method. If Mr Souza wishes to learn correct JSA he needs to train with someone who is accredited- unlike you Mr Mountainous who are an absolute fraud.

I would be quite happy to send Mr Souza DVD with Takano sensei of IBF should he desire it.

BTW Slander is verbal, libel for print-  get the English right.....

That's exactly what I have been saying to all of these pompous wannabes who keep critiquing everyone. I do a sword demonstration for God sakes and I don't go around pretending like I know it all. When you correct someone, tell them how to do it right, now how they did it wrong.

so many quick to slander, nidan big deal. shodan means beginner. when you reach first dan that means you know basics to really learning. you now have all the tools to really understand budo. not the tools to slander. anyone who slanders on youtube is weak and should be positive and tell the person how to do it better or send him a video on proper form. not be negative and slander. slanderers be gone

Sorry but you're an asshole. If you're such a great swordsman then why don't you give this guy constructive criticism instead of slandering him? Otherwise, it is just the same as insulting him. For a black belt, you certainly aren't humble, but you're arrogant. You insult the guy and then make it a point to tell everyone you're a black belt, as if it gives you permission to be an asshole.
