yeah they're lip syncn for TV, i'Ve seen them live a couple times one of the best rock n' roll bands with the best equipmnt., check out the 12 string bass and hook-up, it's not there first day, they kick ass live (live @ bud.) TV sound IT is better off just the acts on display, D.A., TV is fake, HELLO! HOLLYWOOD is fake hellloooo

@krevice If you watch a lot of the vidz where Cheap Trick is only lip synching, Bun E. reverses his setup and plays backwards....it was his way of letting fans now that they were not really playing....he preferred to play live or not at all

Just saw Cheap Trick a few weeks ago in GA, they are still awesome! I must say I had a crush on Robin when I was a kid. They remind me a bit of "Sweet".. Are their any dvd's of 70s Cheap Trick concerts??

One of my all-time favorite bands! For the 70's I think this is a great video. As for the clowning around,that's Cheap Trick! Look at the video "Up the Creek". It's also why they're the best. They enjoy what they do!

@MarkAndreasen Agreed. Further, I don't believe they are really playing in front of an audience. There are no shots of audience and band or vice-versa; none of the instruments are plugged in (though Bun E. is clearly playing; left-handed, even. Sometimes he's on a right-handed kit.)

It looks like something done on an empty soundstage and spliced in later.
