I've never put liquor in, but you would want to do it at the end.

I might suggest that something like Irish Creme might be better than pure whiskey in fudge, but of course that is purely my opinion.

Given the price of ingredients you may decide to take a small sample of the fudge and add a bit of the "water of life" to it.
