The specs for this boot says water wicking; does this mean it is water resistance? Could I walk through shallow water or puddles without water getting in? What about mud? If mud is stopping the water getting out, could it get in?
Damn, I should ave gotten these instead of my magnum Elite Spiders. Spiders are very comfortable but I'm having durability problems not sure they will lat me a year...
I've already fixed up the inside with duck tape and the heal is wearing FAST despite VERY light use... (mostly indoors!)
@Singerazboi100 So far they have performed in 6" of snow, no problems yet. I havent treated them in any way either. Theyve gotten wet in rainy weather and I didnt get wet on the inside so Im guessing deep snow will not be an issue.
@Singerazboi100 I've been running my ATAC Storm boots in the snow recently. I haven't gotten wet or cold feet. The boots grip well in the snow too. I got the Storm for my line of work though since they're waterproof, lightweight and the most comfortable for law enforcement (in my case, security). Hope that helps.
You can fit a 22 in the pocket

@ssadriank I don't know how good the xprt is but I know pretty much any 5.11 gear is all good.

Really nice boots. Those Tactical nubs wear off in the first week but they're a very comfy boot and well built.

@TheTactical6string Can these boots be used in the snow?

I love ATAC boots. Just recently purchased one today and it felt so good.
Can't wait to get another pair for paintball.
