  • sometimes the small amp sounds better than the bigger ones

  • are you in a band? because if your not you should join one

  • No se si sepas español pero yo no se ingles pero aqui en mexico a quien toca excelente se le dice que es chingon , pero tu eres megachingon saludos eres lo maximo

  • whats the trick to the fast runs during 1:11 please answer me

  • @gromshit101 No trick, just practice.

  • Good sound

  • wat scales do you use

  • So is a 10 watt amp fairly loud?

  • i guess is sounds pretty good but id go with a 20 watt

  • 199 package deal ...see the videos loll

  • a ten watt tube amp...hell yeah its pretty loud. solid state is another story, its not too loud.

  • a 10 watt amp is pretty much as loud as you would want it but it sounds like absolute shit.

  • is this a gibson

  • hell yes

  • a testiment that the best and most expensive gear dont make the guitar player better. great playin riffguy, as usual :)

  • man i cant get that sound at all i have a 10 watt johnson with volume master treble bass

  • Could a 10watt amp withstand the heavy distortion from a bc rich warlock/beast (not warbeast, im asking about both in general) or would it sound too crappy?

  • The guitar isn't what creates the distortion, it's the amp. The quality of the sound would depend on the design of the amp.

  • yeah itll hold the sound, but with gaps in your tone notes.

a 50 watt peavy would be very nice with your guitar.

    ide reccomend a marshall MG100FDX

  • uhhh i know i'm late ... but lot of people hate the mg100, and so do i. i think for the money peavey makes way better amps

  • Are 10 watt amps good cus i wanna learn guitar

  • Yeah if ur just learning they are fine

I like to refer to them as lunchbox amps :D

However once you get serious 10 watts just wont cut it anymore

  • What does the truss rod cover say?

  • its a les paul traditional

  • Traditional.

  • I have a gibson SG special which has no pickup covers as standard, if i installed pickup covers would it affect the sound at all?

    Thanks, Andy

  • Some people believe that the covers cut some of the output and high frequencies, but I really don't think there is much difference, if any.

Keep in mind that these covers are soldered on, so if you use a soldering gun instead of an iron, you could end up demagnetizing the pickup's magnet.

  • Oh no paul lol i wont be doing it. I wouldnt trust myself, ill be getting an expert to do it. I have one more question, considering you have many marshall stacks and cabinets i think you must know somewhat about them, i have a Hartke 60W tube stack and its great, but what would happen if i boought a marshall head for it, would it still work or would it need to be the same manufacturer???

Sorry for all the questions =D

  • As long as the cabinet has a high enough wattage rating for the head, it should be fine. Just remember to make sure your Marshall's impedance selector is set to match the cab's impedance.

  • Hey. I'm a beginner guitar player, but I can tell you I can learn really fast, in your opinion what's the best Les paul i could get within the $500-$700 range?

I simply fell in love with the design/sound of it.

  • You'd probably have to go with an Epiphone.

  • Thanks a lot!

Even tho, got some extra cash, and bought my Gibson Les paul just today ;)!

I can tell, I'm in love with this guitar.

  • Can you put some videos up of the Gibson les Paul you bought please?

    Thanks

  • Sounds good. Just wondering what make/model of amp you used, and whether you used any pedals.

  • The amp is an Ashbury LS-G10C. The guitar was plugged straight in with no pedals. I added some reverb to the recording though.

  • great bluesy start, great sound...

  • Riffmaster Rips! He Rocks! He Rules!

  • yea when you play as good as eddie, or better i should say! anything sounds good!

  • I been Schooled once again!! Awesome playing friend..

  • And the two towers are screaming for input....

awesome video, Paul. You prove that tone is in the hands and your mind.

    5*

    Robin :o)

  • Is all to do with the player?

  • Yes, pretty much. My first guitar teacher told me to practice everything with and without any distortion, because you can cover up sloppy playing with effects but real finger skill sounds good anywhere

  • lol riffguy can make anything sound good.

  • you have to at least have a pedal on that. no way that little amp has that much gain.

  • Nope, I'm plugged straight in.

  • actualy i sometimes hook a little kustom practice amp up 2 my big fender because i like the distortion on it. You can always add bass and a little mid on the larger amp... I usualy use cubase for after effects tho. Tho it is tru Riffguy's tone eminates from his fingers.....

  • Don't need to spend a lot of money to sound good, but fancy fingers sure help.

    Awesome Bro!

  • It's not the watt that matters as much as how much the fingers and ears can pull out of the watt.

Outstanding bro, CHEERS...you know what you feel.

  • This video proves it. All you need is a 10W amp to sound great. Therefore you do not need those 3 stacks behind you. I'll be by shortly to pick them up and take them off your hands.

  • bring me!

  • Hahahahahaahahahahahaha at home maybe !!!!

  • amazing !!!

  • And that's a 10 watt amp? wow

  • -_-'

  • Yeah :D
