  • Jerry's flinches when the toothpick touches him are so perfect! And I love how he's breathing out smoke when he leaves.

  • Jerry's first reaction when the toothpick appears is comic perfection.

  • Hey thats Herb Vigran with the cigar! Great charactor actor

  • One scene and one full lesson - How to create situational comedy, slapstick comedy and timing comedy. Jerry Lewis is amazing!

  • Todas estas conductas hoy en día serían inaceptables. All of these behaviors would be unacceptable today

  • Someone pressed the thumbs down button on this. How is that possible?

  • @MarkTheMagnificent They must have missed the right button! :)

  • @MarkTheMagnificent They must have missed...or they're a toothpick enthusiast.

  • You guys talk like he's dead; he's still alive you know.

  • His look of horror when that dude started sniffing about to sneeze. No words even necessary!!! HILARIOUS!!

  • NO ONE - today or yesteryear was better than Jerry! Anyone who can get bellylaughs without uttering a word is a GENIUS!

  • @gounderus Charlie Chaplin??? HAHAHHAA

  • @ccpp90 GREAT call - That is EXACTLY why Charlie IS a genius; Jerry is the modern day Chaplin (or Stan Laurel!)!

  • He is Jerry... what else can you add? Great part of the movie.Other one is The pantomime. He is great!

  • Only Jerry could make you laugh your ass off in that scene and the bubble gum lMAO

  • The first time I saw this movie, that toothpick bit made me laugh so hard, I almost puked. Great movie, breaks every rule of comedy. Thanks for the video!

  • Jerry's best films? The Errand Boy, The Bellboy, The Nutty Professor, The Disorderly Orderly, Rock-a-bye-Baby, Visit to a Small Planet.

With Dean? Artists & Mddels, You're Never Too Young.

  • 11??? seemed to me like it was the 2047! LOL it took a while to get to 11.

    The gum. Funny.

Don´t know if you have seen a lot of JL movies, but which one do you like best? I am practically a new Jerry fan and I´m getting started with buying some of his movies. (If you could recomend me a JL and Dean martin movie it would be better, I really liked them both)

    Thank you for the video.

  • Hey Alexandram12,

I would recommend that you buy Jerry's masterpiece "The Nutty Professor". It's really really great, and has lots of classic scenes. You won't be dissapointed.

    T3

  • I love Jerry Lewis' early films. It's amazing how funny he can make things that are just simple everyday stuff. A great film you should get is called "Who's minding the store." Absolutely hilarious. Also check out "The Ladies Man." This follows the same format as whos minding the store with each scene sort of like a vignette.

  • @alexandram12 For a great Martin/Lewis film try "Artists & Models" also starring Shirley Maclaine and featuring child comic George "Foghorn" Winslow in a great scene with Jerry. Another underrated Martin/Lewis movie is "Hollywood or Bust".

  • a classic. thank you.
