First of all, the gauge of the needle matters and, depending on the size, that's how big of a chunk is taken out of your ear. Hence, the bleeding. I used a gauge larger than is normally employed by standard ear piercing (and most ear piercings are done rather unhealthily WITHOUT hollow needles, which I used). Secondly, you could never begin to ascertain how much it hurt for me. So, in the kindest way possible, go fuck yourself.

I don't think that it would be a problem to go to a pharmacy and buy needles... but what kind of needles? If they're sewing needles, they will assume they're for sewing, if they're inject-into-your-body-or-drug-­needles, I don't know if they ask questions. It's not their business to ask unless you need to be a certain age or have a doctor's order. It's none of their concern, and if it is, make up a good excuse like, it's for a movie prop or something... piercing needles can be ordered online.

She used some kind of disinfectant/ antiseptic liquid, I watched her.  She didn't want to use ice, but ended up doing it on her own accord.
