@beppo321 Have you seen both films? Amelie's antics seem inspired by Faye's, the way she tampers with the cop's personal's while she is away... her outlook on life(great perspective). So, no - I wouldn't say I'm so ignorant. I love both characters; I only believe they are similar.
wauw i cant believet i had this movie and song ind my head for so long time.. had seen the movie in swedish channel (i think ) few years ago and loved it ... tried afterwards to find the movie but i have just forgot the name of the movie and now by totally accidentanly click i have found it,, yes yes i really cant believe it... i just recomend everybody to watch this movie.. could somebody recomend other chinese, japanese, north korean movies especially sad(or funny)love stories?
i wanted to watch this and after viewing this clip, i realized saw this when i was younger! i'll have to watch this great movie again now that i'm older.
One of the best movies EVER! This is a must see for any film student--lots of great filming techniques in terms of camera POV, lighting, and cinematography to mention a few. Wong Kar-wai proves his brilliance and Tony Leung and Faye Wong are both awesome. I think this was also Brigette Lin's last film appearance.

I love this film so much!
I had never seen anything quite like it the first time I saw it. A friend described it as 'cinematic Viagra'!
Spiritually, it captured the twilight hours and the mentality of people who live and work in that time so perfectly.

who was first with this song, these chaps or the Cranberries (dreams)?

cranberries. Faye Wong did a cover that ended up in this film because she starred in it.

@erwtenobservator Faye Wong also does wonders with Cocteau Twins covers. ... blows me away.

Es tan bueno el cine asiàtico que los americanos les copian las pelìculas, y sus remakes son un desastre. Won Kar Wai es un genio.
