This was their big break. Just for laughs Montreal is the launching pad for many sitcoms/careers. They don't care about the audience, they care about the 20 studio execs scouting talent. The crowd is a bunch of families and stone sober, it was probably 2 in the afternoon. This isn't your average comedy crowd in Canada. They'll do gigs around town where it's midnight, everyone is drunk and ready to howl.This was great when it originally aired. In 2004.

i think the crowd didnt laugh much because this was pretty early for them and people didnt get their awkward style of comedy yet, now its the best thing ever.

@Ringowasprettygood I would say its because its a pretty big venue. It's a lot less intimate of a setting. Most of their other performances on video at least are in much smaller venues. People tend to participate more in smaller venues.

that little cut there was not in the original that aired... FOTC actually got alot of recognition from this performance. They played off it perfectly. Just for Laughs in Montreal is where comics perform, they know they've made it.
