A lot of people are whining about the ending to the manga, and I can see why. But I thought it was sweet in a true love sense. They aren't related, and the characters go through a lot of emotions and struggle with the idea at first. but truly, it is sweet that she never wants to leave him.

I don't really know how to discribe this. It is the very first time, that I had this many emotions I could barely control. Usagi Drop is something special. When someone is saying that he/she doesn't want kids because they cost money, time and nerves this person is right about that, but he/she forgot one very important thing: kids are also wonderful and their smile will make up for all this.

@xSasuNaruAmutox DNA test doesn't answer the question "who is this kid's mother". It answers this question "are these two specified people related". If you don't have a candidate to who the other person might be, DNA tests get you nowhere.

I don't see why you wrote this, you spoil it for people who aren't done reading the manga. Very rude and unnecessary if you ask me.

And it's not screwed, what Rin is going through is pretty close to a typical case of Electra complex (pretty much the female version of the Oedipus complex. So this isn't really uncalled for.

@tetsuyayamatashi i dont think so, rin never want to have kid with daikichi, she thinks of him as sort of her guardian. i have read the manga, in which the story has progressed to the few years later, the development's not only around rin and daikichi but also rin's relationship with her friends, like kouki and daikichi's sister's daughter (i forgot her name) i wont spoil the ending but so far i assure you there's no this electra complex whatsoever.

lol Everybody is worried that the anime will have the same ending as the manga. To assure you all, the anime is on an 11-episode schedule, and I highly doubt they're going to animate the second half of the manga. I loved the first half of the manga though. The controversial ending in the manga ruined the whole thing for me, so hopefully I can be wowed enough with the anime to make up for it.
