  • If the fundamentalists want to leave the public school system, I say good riddance. That's why we live in a free country: you can educate your children however you like.

  • This video is a call for brain washing. When the children grow up, they will be in the real world, with people of different beliefs, cultures, and sexual orientation, and these one book children will be ill prepared. Why not investigate the other side of the argument. And also the deaths of Lydia Schatz and Sean Paddock, home schooled children beaten to death, by parents who were following fundamentalist teachings, who used a 'biblical rod' on their children. Parents do not always know best.

  • @fakeaclone I find this post quite disturbing. I worked as Court Appointed Special Advocate in AZ and saw public schooled children daily being beaten, starved, abandoned, and neglected on a daily basis. You can site 2 instances of home schooled children, don't try to pass that on as an epidemic, very bad logic.

  • @joyousmon And since this post, other children have beaten and one killed by supposed 'christian' parents.

  • @fakeaclone I have spanked my kids.

  • No, he's not retreating at all. By pulling out kids from Public Education , we will CUT THE FUNDING and use a strategy of atricion to bring down this atheist-leviathan.I am a public school teacher.I see first hand how the deliberate dumbing down and reduction of morals works. I try to teach Bach ,Mozart, and Music History. They want me to teach Lady Gaga and Britney Spears. I see, encourage the girls to get PG, they can have abortions through Planned ParentHood, and EVERYONE makes money!

  • I prefer Babylon Schools But Pharaohs schools is a good one

  • The UN wears a good intention mask,

started by the same filth whom started public education.

It is Satan's new world order, even if satan is a wizard of oz senario

  • The Anti-christ is here!

  • I agree that if the public school your child would attend supports immoral behaviour like gay marriage and abortion then you should home school your child.

  • Under Chairman Obama, home schooling will be illeagal. It will happen one state at at a time. Just wait for it.

  • I believe that if schools support open-mindedness towards homosexuals and other people who are different and supports compassion towards humanity then we should definetly send our kids to public schools and not to xtian schools where they may be taught hateful beliefs towards minorities

  • 'open-mindedness' and 'compassion' mean different things to people concerning the education of homosexuals. many parents don't want their children learning about this because it is a sexual perversion.

You don't think kids are taught hateful beliefs towards Christians in public schools? Why are Christians not allowed to wear religious t-shirts, pray, post 10 comandments in classroom, not teach creationism, etc. etc. etc.. Our schools are filled with hateful speech towards Christianity.

  • theyre allowed to wear xtian t-shirts here in England, not because the atheists are tolerant towards xtians, but because no one takes them seriously, we pretty much have a live and let live policy concerning christians over here

as or homosexuality being a perversion, do you mean that it is uncommon or are you referring to the views in the bible? Bear in mind that a) they aren't hurting anyone and b) there is nothing in the New Testament about homosexuals

  • a) apart from the health issues that derive exclusively from homosexual activity among males, the average life expectancy is 45. That short of a life span will affect more than just them. b1) even if it is not mentioned in the NT (which it is) it wouldn't change the fact that God says it is an 'abombination' and 'disgusting'.b2) Romans 1:26-27

  • The bible cannot be used to back up anything since it nothing it says can be proven. Most Christians use circular logic to get around this i.e. the bible is the word of God and is therefore infallible and I know it is the word of God because it says so and it is infallible becase it is the word of gos e.t.c but circular logic is not logic

Also, the statistics about Gay people dying young are false, even if it were true by your reasoning smoking and alcohol should also be banned

  • Nothing in the Bible can be proven? I think my role in this conversation will be rather pointless from here on out.

Homosexuality isn't banned, the marriages are. That's a different discussion altogether.

  • That I can agree with. If they aren't Christian and want to be married then it makes no sense as marriage is a christian ceremony. And if they are Christian and want to be married then they are obviously in the wrong religion

they should join one of the religions that allows gay marriages or form a branch of christianity that allows it if they want to be married so badly, not that it's any different fom a civil partnership anyway

  • She's referring to B pulling his C out of D's A, and finding a plum.

The question is, how much longer will people "Tollerate" athiests, before we finally send them paking with their homesexual, lying, thieving, cheating, drug addict darwinite bags?

With stones hot on your lose hidden agenda assets.

  • LOL! That was a joke right?

Ok, I admit it, we atheists are a secret organisation covering a Satanic worship cult.

Oh Satan, Spirit of the Earth, God of Liberty, open wide the gates of Hell and come forth from the abyss by these names: Satan! Ba'al Zəbûb! Leviathan! Asmodeus! Abaddon! Obama!

Allahu akbar. Ashhadu 'an la ilaha illa-allah, wa ashhadu 'anna Muhammadan rasulu-llah.

  • I believe it a crime for strangers to talk anal sex to my kid on the corner.

I beleive it should be no different for some adult posing as a math teacher,

I believe it should be no different for some Secret Society Pedofile in DC

to do so (through that teacher)

I believe jenniferthomas is challanged because she went to public school.

  • ok public schools arent actually demonic.i go to public school yet i know mature Christian teens who do fine OUT of private, Christian schools. where i live, private schools are public schools you pay to go to. i know i can be in the world without being of it. maybe sometimes kids shouldnt be in public schools SOMETIMES. if we just divide ourselves from "pagans" how will they ever see Christ?

  • The gays, for you people it is always about the gays.

  • I agree that there are problems with public education, especially when it involves teaching children ideas contrary to their moral beliefs. But to say keeping them in Public School is a sin...is going a bit far.

Some people simply do not have the ability to homeschool, and can not afford private.

  • I think a lot of ya'll are missing the point that this man is saying followers of his faith which is Christianity need to have controll over there childrens education not the government. It is a belief of his religion to educate your own. IT makes sense from a Christian standpoint to not have Christian children in public schools. He didnt say nothing about secular children or children of other faiths however I think they need to be pulled out and taught by people who hold the same values too.

  • wow people are flaming on these message boards.....haha/

  • I actually don't agree that "we're losing the culture". I think the pop culture is ramping up its campaign of nihilism because Christianity and reason are starting to make a comeback. Obama's administration is going to be a great catalyst, I think, a perfect example of the failure of his ideology.

  • why do you say christianity is a scam?

  • Because he's not very bright.

  • Christianity is a scam? Spoken like a true bigot.

  • You're wrong.....it's only bigotry if it's against homosexuals and false religions. :sarcasm:

  • It seems that most of this has degenerated into judging the socio-political standing of other believers. I agree Christians are much like water, you spread them out and they ready the soil, but if you get too many just sitting there, they start to stink. I live in Utah, Christians are discriminated against here, but that fostered a sense in the beliefs that I have today even when I was told I was wrong by teachers and other children, give your kids and the way you raised them more credit.

  • 'CHRISTIANS are much like water, you spread them out and they ready the soil, but if you get too many just sitting there, they start to stink.' Correction. That would be RELIGIOUS people. Christianity is not RELIGIOUS. Pride drives the religious. Love drives the 'born again'. Big difference.

  • Mormons don't count, Lightsofnero.

  • Mormons don't count to what, pray tell? That's a very vague disagreement; not a well developed idea, at all. You cannot just say that you disagree with something and then leave it at that.

  • Do you really want to get into a debate about mormonism, "Lightsofnero"??

Suffice it to say, there is a reason I said "mormons don't count"...

Being from Utah, however, you would no doubt highly disagree with me.

  • Well, I do not doubt that I may not disagree with you, but a couple of disagreements thus far One) Why put my avatar in quotations, unless you were looking to sound pretentious or say that I'm not truly as advertised, and I would like to discuss your views and why you feel as such, though I feel that debate comes to no real resolution as C.s. Lewis said, "No one comes to a belief because they lost the argument." As you will find I am Christian and the Bible is my source of truth.

  • 1st of all, I put your "avatar in quotations", simply to distinquish that my comment was intended for you only. I am not a pretentious person by any means. And, as for your 2nd point, if you wish to debate "mormonism" with me....Bring it on! The Bible is MY source of truth, as well.

  • Government schools get government results. Christian schools get Gods results ! My children are grown now , but homeschooling our children was a priceless endeavor.

  • Part 3 -I think it's fine for Christians to send their children to private school and to home school if they feel led to, but I also think it was my mandate from God to send my children to public schools.

  • Part 2- Perhaps being in Texas, we had an advantage in that there are many, many Christians in the schools, teachers, principals and students, and we had a wonderful Moms in Touch group. We prayed for our children, other children and the schools and teachers. Where would we be if no one was there and no one was praying for all of them?

  • That's great, joylily, but we don't live in "Texas". The public schools around here are FULLY "politically correct", and full of unqualified teachers, and utilizie curriculums that would rival anything in the former Soviet Union. So, I'm happy for you that your public school system still allows "Christians" to exist openly. Here, they are virtually vilified.

  • I am so sorry. I do know that there are some places where Christians are truly discriminated against, especially east and west coasts. I am deeply concerned about where things are headed. I hope you read my Part 3.

  • I did read your "Part 3", joylily514. According to you, you a "mandate from God to send your kids to public schools". Conversely, maybe I had a "mandate" to send mine to a CHRISTIAN school. I find it a little difficult to believe that whole "mandate from God" thing. As is generally the case when people can't send their kid to private school, it was more likely a "mandate" from your wallet/bank account. It's not cheap to give them a private education.

  • Ouch!I feel attacked.I'm not arguing with you.I used the mandate term to echo the name of the group, but God clearly led us to send our children to public school. We chose our home based on the schools. Money was never an issue. If we'd had poor schools, we were in a position to send them to private school. I am in no way condemning those who send children to private school.Very good friends have and do.Please don't comment unless you can do so in a civil manner without assumption & judgement.

  • Part one -I can't say that I agree with this idea. I am a Christian and I believe that my children received a wonderful education in the public schools. I was also VERY involved in the schools in PTA, as a band mom and general volunteer. God calls us to be in the world, but not of the world. We are to be salt and light to the world. I believe God calls us to be in the public schools to be a witness for Christ there.

  • This is nothing new to me. I'm very thankful to God that I never had to put my child in a public school. I would have done whatever I had to, regardless, to keep her out of them. She is graduating this year with nearly a 4.0 GPA, and has already been accepted into the university of her first choice. (Which is also a private university). Public schools in this country are an abomination in every respect.

  • IN all honesty public school do not teach kids, they brain wash them. The things they have my sister do in HS is pathetic. Public school systems are just institutions of mass brainwashing.

  • Great video!

  • I agree with this man, only there is one more thing, Christianity is Paganism personified. The image of Christ as a man is sacrilegious. Therefore the worshiping of the man, must be as well. The only physical existence of Christ is the Light that is within us all! Perhaps if we saw ourselves more as Christs equal we would be inclined to be the miracle and save ourselves. It's important to get kids out of the indoctrination system and into a critical thinking and true spiritual environment.

  • The law requires a kinsman redeemer. if Jesus was not a man, we are in heap-big-doodoo. Jesus is of course God as well, but the law requires a (human) kinsman redeemer.

"if we saw ourselves more as Christs equal we would be..." believing a huge lie. The same lie Satan told in the Garden, the same lie that got us in the mess we are in now

  • Nonesense.

Who made this "law" and why should we care? Why doesn't anyone ever question a crappy law?!

  • Clearly, you were fully endoctrinated by your local public school. New Age MUCH???

You really have no clue, girl.

  • The Christianity Corporation is the problem, not spirituality. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE. Lets not allow your one sided minds to spin this. And I was not a victim of public or (info control mommy knows all) home school. I read many books from many authors from different backgrounds, cultures and perspectives and form my own opinion on what I see. Of course you would have to categorize me as "new age" because your minuscule consciousness can perceive no more than cliques, colors and classes.

  • Geez, amandafraidenburg, what the heck is "The Christianity Corporation"?? I don't think I've ever heard of that. It's okay, sweetie...Nobody is trying to make you believe ANYTHING you don't want to believe. No one is trying to say you should have Christ rammed down your throat..(so to speak). Even Christ, Himself, would do that to you, amanda.

  • Don't be naive, Christianity brings in over 40 Million dollars a year untaxed. It's a Corporation that gets a big break from the government.

  • That statement, again, proves your ignorance. It's so typical of people like you to cast your biased net over all of Christianity, just because some "Christian" pastors and leaders have mishandled and abused the finances and followers within their respective churches/organizations.

Since, it's obvious you don't ATTEND a Christian church, (if any church at ALL) then you really have no clue what you're talking about. Try another, less-overused argument, sweetie.

  • OutSTANDING!

  • If everyone starts pulling their children out of public schools..the government will eventually pass a law outlawing home schooling.

My son was home schooled..he graduated in the top of his class and is now attending Texas A & M where he is president of his fraturnity and has a 4.0 grade point average. He is not lacking in social skills.

  • And we will just let the Government outlaw home schooling, won't we?

  • What?

  • I love what you're doing, bro! Great stuff. I can't wait to see what else you have planned.

  • I am no christian, but forcing your religion in public schools is ok? The religion of materialism and no morals or values, you push that into kids heads at public schools and you mandate your garbage into their heads, why cant christians?

  • We need to understand that the schools are not the only problem , t.v. and the internet take a big part in molding our culture. I think you should not take your kids out of school but set their values straight in your home and deal with hypocracy of the world because its going to be there for a long time. Because it is teaching our kids we set our future in this country.

  • I think I miss the point in seeing how pulling children out of public schools is fruitful. It's burying their heads in the sand and not giving them a chance to learn to question the things that they hear and foster a discerning mind. They want Christian leaders, but pulling Christian children out of society promises that they won't have the social skills needed. "Unequally yoked" We shouldn't hire Atheists, nor should we work for mormons? What we do, we do it like we would for God.

  • The point is to teach our children what's right instead of allowing them to be taught by enemies of our beliefs.

Adults can coexist and retain their beliefs, but children are too vulnerable, too malleable.

"Train up a child in the way he should go and he will not depart from it." Unfortunately, that passage applies to evil teaching as well.

  • I agree with you. I prayed that our children would have discernment and how to deal with the "real" world. We gave them a strong Christian foundation at home and at church. We are blessed to have adult children who love the Lord. See my other comments below.

  • I never really paid much attention to the schooling issue, but now I see how important it really is. Good job!

    BTW, I love the "packaging"!

  • The real question is not whether Christians will pull their children out of public schools, but why they subjected their children to that ordeal in the first place.

  • I can't wait to se the rest of the interview

  • great video! God Bless America! Thanks so much for sharing and all your hard work<3

  • Congratulations, gurkhaboy ;)
