It's your plain ignorance here. Sometimes cats and dogs live in the same house and have to meet sooner or later. What cruel is there about that? The cat is of course scared at first, but soon they'll get along. That's just how it goes.
@JJJMMM1 Well the person in the video (the catowner ?) comments on the cat attacking the dog. But the cat isn't attacking, it's merely defending it's territory. The dog is invading. Yes cats are territorial, hence the comment about 'plain ignorance or a cruel experiment'. imo you should only get a dog AND a cat if they are both very small, the rest is just cruel towards the pet.

Dogs are very social animals and they'll adapt even quicker. Dogs were bred from wolves who lived in packs, and pack behaviour is still coded in the DNA of dogs: as long as you have control over your dog and clearly show the dog that the cat is a part of the family, the cat is fine.
