  • I try to transrate this song. I 'm not good at English yet (it was 3 years ago!), but I will.

Old Japanese have many double meanings, so it can't be correct, I'm afraid.

"Mirage may be waiting in heaven. x2

The flower which is in bloom prays. (I am) pessimistic about myself in life, but a dream is not vanished.

    (I) resent and am gone. x2

During Inconsorable darkness of many nights,

    (I) pray to Sumekami for eggs can go to the next world (or reincarnate)."

  • @tounyuuinnryou Well either way, that's a fantastic ability you have to translate between English and old Japanese

  • Is Radiomanga a live stream radio or what?

  • @DerFreiegedanke It's a website where you download anime music; it's not really a radio streaming service.

  • are the drums here taiko drums??

  • OMG SO AWESOME !

  • this japanese is old japanese.

  • @vivienne03 ''Old'' Japanese or ''Old School'' Japanese is more beautiful than the one used now in my opinion.

  • Simply Amazing. Feels like.. Something i can't describe well. Oh Lord.

  • I'm confused as to why this is technically the lowest quality version of this song being 240p and yet somehow the audio sounds more crisp than all the other versions I can find on youtube yet they are 360p. bleh, anyway, awesome song; I can listen to it all day...and I have on more than one occasion.

  • @platinumlance 240p means 240 pixel resolution, it has nothing to do with the sound quality. sound quality is measured with kbps

  • @Nadeshikoslove I think he knows that, but Youtube just happens to have better audio with higher resolutions.

  • @egretdingo Thats not up to Youtube, its who and how it was uploaded I doubt he knew about pixel and kbps. Cause they have nothing to do with eachother in first place.

  • @Nadeshikoslove Lower resolutions give lower quality audio ON YOUTUBE.

  • @egretdingo Thats wrong. Not if the picture was low resulution already before uploading it. Thats why i said "how" he uploaded it.

  • @Nadeshikoslove Holy shit you're stubborn. Have you actually bothered to check it out? There are Youtube videos with great audio at 720p, yet the quality decreases when you switch to 360p. That is why he was wondering about this low-res video being the best quality audio he could find. You really need to have a little more faith in people's intelligence. Of course the quality of the uploaded original matters.

  • @egretdingo O.o bothered to check it out? Common sence, eyes and ears thats all i needed for this video. I didt bother at all, i can see due looking at it alone that its been uploaded low resultion already. Btw its been uploaded 2008. Back then they had only 380p max resolution. Ever thought of that?

  • @Nadeshikoslove I'm not talking about this video specifically. I am giving you a reason why the guy might have been surprised by the soundquality at this resolution. How is this not getting through to you? Resolution on Youtube can affect soundquality playback, given that the uploader did upload a high quality video.

  • @egretdingo i know that, however maybe i misunderstood his question. Anyhow yet you dont need much of brain to think of possibility that the file had most likely just a better sound quality compared the others.

  • @Nadeshikoslove Don't underestimate people. It was just a rhetorical question he asked. Stating it's sort of funny how this low-res video seems to have the best audio he could find on Youtube.

  • @Nadeshikoslove lol, bombarded with replies just for this? Damm, that sucks!

  • @Nadeshikoslove However! videos with lower video quality usually will have lower sound quality, fyi.

  • I LOVETHIS SONG SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!

  • Kenji Kawai is a musical genius. This is the same guy who brought you the "Ip Man" ost and the best version of "Emiya" in FSN.

  • Japanese are so creative and have good music.

  • omfg! i love this song, 2:40 gives me these awesome chills. LOVE IT! Such a good movie too, GITS:Innocence has awesome visuals.

  • @dorabka

The song is not from GIST 2.

  • @evi1d33d its from the 2nd gits movie (gits:innocence) so yeah it is from gits 2.

  • @evi1d33d Actually it is from Ghost In The Shell 2 Innocence. I've seen the anime and this song is in it. XD

  • Love it.

    Faved

  • The masters works.

  • Mamoru Oshii's Ghost In The Shell is better than the originals!!

  • The more mature take of the series Oshii uses is pretty cool.

  • When Innocence came out, one of the things that I really anticipated was the music that will be used in the movie's climax scene. The reason for this, is because the original GITS movie, the grand finale music was so heavenly genius!! (Floating Museum). And since the original composer is back in Innocence, hence my expectation

But to my disappointment, the key tune for the very finale scene, was basically the same as the one used in the original movie. It is still great, but it's not new.

  • @killerwhales90210 i get it now, but i have to say shirow is one of the most knowledgable scifi writer i have read. he doesnt just cook things out of blue, he researches his presentations and explains his abstracts painstakingly, and without him the actuall concept of GITs might as well have been a generic nipponese mecha fantasies

  • This is such a beautiful track- I can't find a download for it anywhere...

  • powerfull symphony

  • Great movie + Great soundtrack = one hell of a movie

  • goodsong. but in the movie its way better. because they speed it up a little.

  • Absolutely adore this one!!! Best song ever!

  • Isn't this when Batou is infiltrating that complex, and the security bots are trying to fry his brain?

  • yeah, but theyre trying to fry Kim's brain who togusa is using as a defence barrier.

  • POWERFULL!!!!

  • The film, made up with this music asset is just superb. GiTS is one of the best original animes.

  • Fuking epic

  • the title is「傀儡謡 陽炎は黄泉に待たむと」(kugutuuta kagerohi ha yomi ni matamu to)

means "a doll's song - mirage may be waiting in heaven"(my English is so bad...)

    written in archaic stile.

exact pronunciation is "kageroi wa yomi ni matan to"

    to me Japanese, great song!

  • @tounyuuinnryou Thank you my friend for letting us know. It was helpful. It makes me think of a navy sailing through a rough storm.

  • /worship this song
