I personally think it is a terrible game. The only good things it has going for it are the graphics and the tracks.There are too many cars in the game so you never actually get the supercar you want. I mean really, if you could buy any of the cars whenever you want great. But you can't, you get 4 manufacturers per day. 68 days in... where's Lambo!!!! As far as racing goes it is boring and repetitive, it is also copletely unrealistic, really I easily beat Bugatti Veyrons 09 in a Ford GT 05. Bad.

multiplayer online games on the PSP itself already lag no matter what, either if its a shooter from "magic bullets"

and adding a complicated game into that factor will probably make it freeze,

one of the reasons why Littlebigplantet didn't have co-op online or ad hoc

i play socom 2/3 every day ALL DAY online and ive never had a single lag...

the only reason why theres no multiplayer in GT-PSP is because they didn't had enough space on the umd to write the code for the multiplayer, or they couldn't manage to host a server for the online community to host games at...

many psp game companys were having the same problem, and that's why there are so many ad-hoc only games,

like GTA...

Yeah, but the point of the iPod touch is that you get a great iPod (portable media player) and a good handheld gaming console. The PSP is a great handheld gaming console but is mediocre in terms of multimedia compared to something like an iPod or Zune.

The iPod touch is better all-around, especially when you consider the App Store or Installer and Cydia (if jailbroken).

i dont buy games for career mode.

i buy em based on 2 reasons.

1) concept/genre

2) how fun it is.

i didnt sell call of duty when i realised all u can do is level up for a litle badge.

i kept it because it was fun no matter what level/prestige you are.

infact by not having a career mode i think they did an excellent job so you dont have to dedicate your time to a hand held console while it will still be fun when you play it in short times like on the bus or something.

well that's what Gran Turismo is famous for: driving SIMULATION.

if you're a hardcore burnout fan who drifts sharp corners while going a ridiculous 200 mph, you're obviously gona think this game is "kinda slow". but if you're someone who wants a real, authentic driving experience with none of the arcade-ish themes or automatic handicaps, then this game is for you.

PS3 version is still compared to Forza, but Forza is more of being able to do whatever you want with your cars. GT is just race race race, but GT can get boring after a while. Forza? Customizable, able to tune, paint jobs, sell/buy cars online, and drift with other people online on mountain courses. GT5 doesn't have that does it?

hey man gt was the first series with customizable tuning cars.. gt4 lets you tune way more than forza with like 5 time more cars so gt5 will be even better and it has Nascar, rally racing, formula 1, where forza doesn't and it also will have 1000 cars.. this psp version won't be all super customizable but then again its a portable game, if u want complete customizable cars wait for gt5

Yes I'm pretty sure you can tune in GT, I have all of them. When I compared the fun to it, Forza was way more fun. GT I drifted, but it wasn't just as exciting as Forza. I know you can buy parts for GT but it doesn't really have as much effect as Forza. The engines always sound the same, while Forza you can hear turbo spools, and VTECs kick in. Also with NASCAR, rally, and F1, that really gets boring.
