  • LOVE IT AND I LOVE HER VOICE ;)

  • Deep musical shower of Black Milk... To listen over and over again...

  • BLack milk + weed = the paradise ...

  • Where I live black milk is called chocolate milk.

  • Nice Voice and best Video! :-)

  • Voice Liz Fraser made this song special....

  • That was magnificent! And the choice of song was brilliant! Actor Richard Burton was excellent in a movie called 'Robe'

  • @nehebkau111 thats over 1083.3333 hours of this song which is....over 45 days of purely this song. I think someone's telling porkies!

  • Those who dislike this song or video or whatever pls pls tell us what exactly you dislike? Not judging here only curious! Thanks

  • i'm a lazy man. all i do in life is listen to music. and i'm not lying when i say this: i've heard this song over 10 000 times. seriously. the only song i can listen to over and over again :)

  • That bass bounces around so subtly and yet when you focus on it. It verges on boisterousness !

  • This misic is kind of new, it is one of steps of transformation our old music to new lewel

  • Ésta banda siempre me sorprende!! Me encanta!

  • Great song with perfect video...though for some reason video story reminds me of the movie The Lives of Others!!!

  • @JanMarie1007 thats a great movie

  • Easily the best track from Mezzanine. Great vid too, well cut!! Cheers.

  • very good

  • This is a perfect pairing of a great song with a great video (made of clips from a great movie). It's well-done and very entertaining! Thanks so much for this. :) :) Cheers!

  • love this!

  • pass the marihuana (8)

  • @jml42784 only one way to find out!

  • I forgot one of their best songs (in my opinion): Mezzanine.

  • @DanceOxOxO Sure. I don't know if you'll find them depressive enough, but here's a try. :) - Risingson - Pray for Rain - Butterfly Caught - Rush Minute - Live with Me - Aftersun (feat. Dot Allison) - Reflection - Herculaneum - Flat of the Blade - The Hunter gets captured by the Game (feat. Tracey Thorn) - Splitting the Atom (highly recommended, even if it's not that depressive) I hope that you will like some of these and enjoy listening to them. ;) Kind regards from Germany.
  • @RadonKid Thank youu soo much!

    Regards from Dubai !

  • @DanceOxOxO You're welcome. ;)

  • @RadonKid you´re right, but i would add "false flags", a really great song

  • Eastern Europe Kosmos

  • Video fuckin hot

  • Just gave you, you're 57th green thumb. This is one killer song! and of course not to forget the film either.

  • I think this song is about being in a destructive marriage, and the loss of your own identity. Sacrificing yourself for someone who sucks the life out of you, eating you piece by piece until there is nothing left.

For me, the meaning of "love you for God, love you for the mother" is that she is not loving him for any other reason than it's what she is supposed to do. For the institution of marriage, ordained by God.

  • You're not my eater. I'm not your food.

Love you for God. Love you for the Mother.

Eat me in the space within my heart.

Love you for God. Love you for the mother.

    Mother, fountain,

Or live or not at all.

    The most level, sunken chapel.

Love you for God. Love you for the Mother.

  • The Cold War suddenly got a bit hotter, courtesy of Massive Attack here! Nice how this vid seems to give the devastatingly tragic 'The Spy Who Came In From The Cold' a happ(ier)/more hopeful ending; perhaps a bit like the false happy endings in Gilliam's 'Brazil'; or Vincent Ward's 'Map Of The Human Heart' (sorry if you reckon that's a plot spoiler or three). Burton & Blooms finest hours IMAO. 'Black Milk's /Liz Frazers haunting, slinky gloom makes for a surprisingly apt soundtrack.

  • I just watched the movie yesterday on TV and I loved it.

As I was watching it I had to think about this great video and my favourite song by Massive Attack. :>

  • Wow I love this song...trip hop at it's best+with the delectable Richard Burton.....lovely!!!!

  • can anyone write the lyrics? the whole lyrics. cause i hear: youre lord my heater, im lord your food.. but on every single website stands:youre not my eater, im not your food. o.O and there are some other words and stuff that doesnt make sense. so please =D

  • @XDcarol You're not my eater. I'm not your food.

Love you for God. Love you for the Mother.

Eat me in the space within my heart.

Love you for God. Love you for the mother.

    Mother, fountain,

Or live or not at all.

    The most level, sunken chapel.

Love you for God. Love you for the Mother.
