Hey Jetterix---are you interested in selling me these dumbells for full price? The company is out of stock and doesn't know when they'll be back in stock. Thanks.
Ironmaster used to be Titan, right? Just ordered the ironmaster dumbbels with superbench(package 2). Came out to 858 with shipping_hope I like them, for the money and lifetime warrantee_if they are good, I'm set.
hello friend, i see that you posted this review quite some time ago. i'm considering the titan over the bulky and constricting powerblocks and the fragile bowflex selecttechs. how are the titans working out for you? thanks in advance.
Great review. I have a set of Power Blocks that I'm completely satisfied with but I can see from the video how the Titan's have built off the Power Block design and improved upon it with the selector (makes it slightly quicker to change weight). Though both will still have some problems with 2 handed overhead dumb bell presses and things of that nature, this design of selectable dumbbell is still better imho than the bowflex brand's design.
The size of the weights are no problem. I'm 5'9" with medium sized hands and the weights never seem too big or small. The amount of weight is the issue. Titans go up to 65lbs. Perfect for everything but lawnmowers and single arm rows. I pushed out sets of 12-20 and really burned - great results with the lighter 65lbs. My form could remain strict (perfect) through the exercise. Everything else the Titans were excellent, especially for anything quick changing like drop sets.
Nice review Jett! I have a set and love the dumbbells for the same reasons. I bought mine in March 09 to do P90X and had excellent results. They change so fast that I can change weights in the middle of a set. Much bigger hand opening than the powerblock and very high quality. Made in the USA and a lifetime warranty helped me decide to buy them.
Im doing P90X as well its week 7 for me and I'm getting strong.....need more weights for certain exercises especially lawn mowers......are these really good with p90x? They seem kinda big
