Снимали-то фильм достаточно интересно - подобрали мужика и певицу с похожими тембрами, певица пела в верхнем регистре, мужик в нужный момент вступал в нижнем.

Para cantar más claro y definido cada tono es mejor ESTE movimiento de labios que el que hacen todos al cantar, con este movimiento las vocales no son tan pronunciadas y la salida y sonido del aire no interfieren tanto al canto.

No hay instrumento que posea esa nota con esa potencia. ¡Essa nota nota era una auténtica lira con un micrófono a unos 1500 hercios!

Los castrados barrocos literalmente eran liras, oboes, violines potentìsimos, etc., e incluso podìan batirse a duelo con cualquier instrumento por un minuto o màs y sin respirar.

Retratan en esta película la vida sexual de otro castrado llamado Gian Battista Velluti. en otro sentido, Farinelli sí que hechizaba no sólo a mujeres, sino a todos...

Hay mucha teoría, pero no hay pruebas en audio que se asemejen a la voz de un castrado, sólo hay audios del castrado Moreschi y su voz no suena como la de esta película, pues tiene unos despuntes agudos potentísimos, son sonidos no humanos para pronto.

He worked together with female singers and other great castratos like Senesino and acted with others. I can't believe the criticisms on here of Stefano Dionisi for his lip-syncing of the various songs in the film. The behind the scenes film made about the time the film was shot shows Stefano Dionisi preparing and lip-syncing to Lascia Ch'io Pianga. It shows how very difficult it is to do this and Lascia was a slow aria, just imagine how difficult it must have been for Stefano to act to the very speedy, trilly arias. Personally I have always been in awe of Stefano that he could do this so well.

Indeed he was very popular among the ladies, but the thing I hate about this movie is that he sings every aria from every character in the operas. He didn't do that. He worked together with female singers and other great castratos like Senesino and acted with others. I dont belive he ever stole Händels score to put up his own version of this opera Rinaldo like in this movie.

I can't believe the criticisms on here of Stefano Dionisi for his lip-syncing of the various songs in the film. The behind the scenes film made about the time the film was shot shows Stefano Dionisi preparing and lip-syncing to Lascia Ch'io Pianga. It shows how very difficult it is to do this and Lascia was a slow aria, just imagine how difficult it must have been for Stefano to act to the very speedy, trilly arias. Personally I have always been in awe of Stefano that he could do this so well.

No, Farinelli's voice in the movie is done by combining two excellent voices: Ewa Malas - Godlewska for the higher range and Derek Lee Ragin for the lower range, she is a Polish opera singer and he is American. The voices are real though (not computer generated).

Il fine di chi fa un'opera cinamatografa è quello di "tradurre" meglio che può i sentimenti e i riferimenti di un tempo in modo da essere oggi chiari. La voce è una ricostruzione possibile a meno che, chi la critica, non abbia sentito cantare dal vivo l'ultimo castrato esistente: in Vaticano verso la fine dell'800.

(Per Lamprotes1) Le abbondanti scene dedicate,in questo film,agli amplessi di Carlo e Riccardo Broschi,presentati come degli autentici allupati dal regista Corbiau,sono dei veri insulti alla loro memoria! La pellicola confonde le idee,per chiarirtele leggiti Sandro Cappelletto : "La voce perduta". Quanto ad Alessandro Moreschi,nel cd della Opal,fa una pessima figura come ultimo castrato,sopratutto quanti lo definivano l'angelo di Roma!
