Its a beautiful film matte.

I also thought the last scene was the best. But the definition is poor in in this version. When I saw it big screen, you could see the model T's/wagon wheels/horse skeletons much more clearly. Also, was there not a part of this film matte that showed a conquistador's helmet on a pike??

The whole point being, the vampires were always there.

Its quite an impressive sequence the first time anyone sees the film.
