Man I posted a comment about how I LOVED it but didn't FEEL the emotion in the vocal even though it was well sung. BUT TODAY, I re-listened to it and your EMOTION IN the VOCALS were the BEST part of the song for me. Actually I COMPLETELY change my opinion about how I thought it lacked emotion. Loved the electric on here man. ONLY Critique. Me and You are both from USC and LA! I didn't get convinced in the vocals the honesty. I didn't feel the pain that this song usually gives off. Great vocal in terms of singing but the emotion wasn't where I'd hope it be for me. I'd like to see different phrasing than John's or even a lyric change. I think you held back is all. Otherwise very creative, unique, original and great track. (LOVED when you were breaking out of the falsetto, around 3:34!)

@mattrca it's a drum called a cajón that my friend's dad custom built! It has drum snares attached on the inside of the front head, and with some creative playing (and some good mic placement) you can kind of get the effect of a full drum kit from just a little box! :)

Amazing cover, even though I am a huge fan of solo-acoustic music i definately think you should do more of these "videosongs".

I would have liked some more focus on the lead-guitar (without drowning the vocals of course) and maby tone down the piano and acoustic guitar slightly, since to me the lead guitar is what really makes this song.
