  • "I'm going to adhere to the pre-task, doing-task, and post-task framework". What a load of nonsense. I wish some EFL teachers would cut out the crap and get on with it, using simplified language their students actually understand!

  • How do we apply this approach if Students don't know anything about the L2, that is, very beginning learners. This approach involves interaction, so what are we supposed to do if the language is completely new for them?

  • Too much TTT and not much humanism within the classroom. There is a focus on the material and not much focus on the learners. The one thing that I dislike about TBL is that the emphasis is on completing the task and not on the learners within the classroom. Try to adopt more interaction with the students rather than transactional information.

  • too much teacher talking time...  way too much, really

  • kind of obvious stuff, over-complicated by the usual ESL jargon and gobledeegook.
