I thought Tomorrow Never Dies was pretty good, but seeing Michelle Yeoh kick ass alongside Pierce Brosnan makes me want to watch Police Story 3: Supercop (where Michelle Yeoh teams up with Jackie Chan) even more.
Probably my most favorite James Bond movie ever. Pierce Brosnan did a good "modern" James Bond and this movies just scream the 90's; a very "modern" era.
I actually see some potential in Daniel Craig though. They just need to hire the writer from the bond game "Blood Stone" and do a movie with the same amount of action, similar thrills and a bit more gadgetry then he just needs to act like the bond in the said game and all will be well.
I love the Pierce Brosnan bond films. They're classic, but still up to date! I think it's a shame that Miss Moneypenny and Q are not in the Daniel Craig bond films. They belong to Bond!

Agreed, he suks. Not only that, but the movie suks too. The movie moved WAY too fast and the camera angles were HORRIBLE. Its that shakey close cam shlt where u cant see any of the action.
His jokes were ridiculous. Collision coverage? Flat out YES! Then all the other insurance add ons. My favorite of Pierces funny moments. Overall my favorite Brosnan Bond movie was Goldeneye though. But all were good except his last one with Catwoman.

Tomorrow Never Dies was great and underrated Bond movie. Pierce Brosnan shines as always. Michelle Yeoh was great - maybe the strongest Bond Girl. She could kick Bond's ass too. Jonathan Pryce was great villain. Teri Hatcher should have had much more screen time.

TND is my favorite of the Brosnan Bonds, particularly the Bond/Paris scenes. The first half of the film is excellent but like the other Brosnan entries, the second half seems to be one big chase with a lot of machine guns.

That might be close to why Q's not in it but he is 007 cause M says she promoted him to 00 status several times a the beginning of Casino Royale. Hopefully the next Bond will introduce Q.
Q died. He was in his 80's easily. He was there from the first Bond movies in the 60's. Look how old Sean Connery is. Q had gray hair in those movies even.

@lone1980 Arnold sucks. I'm offended that he hasn't been let go. His scores are cliche, the "Bond sound" has been done so many times before! Bring something new, fresh and innovative like Serra did in Goldeneye. His scores add nothing to the film and are simply "functional" and, IMO, the Bond series deserves better. Tomorrow Never Dies is a generic action film at best.

*SOME TEXT MISSING* Between Brosnan and Craig, Brosnan portrays James Bond in the books or lets say a more fictional bond while Craig portrays James Bond in Reality or what James Bond would be in the real world. But of course, it depends on the script and storyline.
Pierce Brosnan was portrays a modern bond especially with all of those modern high tech gadgets (i.e the cell phone and the BMW) which makes his movies as if it was new even today. I can even claim tomorrow never dies as a bond movie of the millenium (even though it went on the big screen in 1997) compared to new bond movies. Craig on the other hand portrays a much more realistic agent rather than the fictional bond *SOME TEXT MISSING*
Everything I LOVED about James Bond was taken away in the new Bond films. Tommorrow Never Dies is one of the many reasons why I LOVE Bond, James Bond.

Piece Brosnan wasent a bad bond himself, but the movies he was in we're utter tripe (not including Goldeneye). The same goes for Quantum of Solace. They need to keep the good directors, directing the films.

Another thing craigs movies doesnt have a whole lot of action, i mean sure the parkour chase and the airport part, but its like an hour in a Casino, he doesnt go to diffrent worlds car chasses,shootouts, no "ACTION" i foun Casino royale very boring. pierce is a more classic kind of bond, one who looks like a bond, acts like a bond and saves the world like a bond, craig has none of that. At least pierce can look good in a suit, but i have yet to see quantam of salace, it does look better.
it maybe because of the plot of casino royale , you have to consider that also since the name is casino so yes there must be a part in casino which if you like action that version of bond may not suits
@jetfire2004 Um. Uh. Did you know that Ian Fleming (he created James Bond) didn't write the character as a man who drives invisible cars and run around like a nut-case? Just letting you know. The sixties films (the best of the series, IMO) had a lot of incredible action, well directed, shot, scored, acted. Can't say the same for anything in the Brosnan era.

Bring something new, fresh and innovative like Serra did in Goldeneye. His scores add nothing to the film and are simply "functional" and, IMO, the Bond series deserves better. Tomorrow Never Dies is a generic action film at best.

*SOME TEXT MISSING* Between Brosnan and Craig, Brosnan portrays James Bond in the books or lets say a more fictional bond while Craig portrays James Bond in Reality or what James Bond would be in the real world. But of course, it depends on the script and storyline.

Pierce Brosnan was portrays a modern bond especially with all of those modern high tech gadgets (i.e the cell phone and the BMW) which makes his movies as if it was new even today. I can even claim tomorrow never dies as a bond movie of the millenium (even though it went on the big screen in 1997) compared to new bond movies. Craig on the other hand portrays a much more realistic agent rather than the fictional bond *SOME TEXT MISSING*

Piece Brosnan wasent a bad bond himself, but the movies he was in we're utter tripe (not including Goldeneye). The same goes for Quantum of Solace. They need to keep the good directors, directing the films.

Another thing craigs movies doesnt have a whole lot of action, i mean sure the parkour chase and the airport part, but its like an hour in a Casino, he doesnt go to diffrent worlds car chasses,shootouts, no "ACTION" i foun Casino royale very boring. pierce is a more classic kind of bond, one who looks like a bond, acts like a bond and saves the world like a bond, craig has none of that. At least pierce can look good in a suit, but i have yet to see quantam of salace, it does look better.

@jetfire2004 Um. Uh. Did you know that Ian Fleming (he created James Bond) didn't write the character as a man who drives invisible cars and run around like a nut-case? Just letting you know. The sixties films (the best of the series, IMO) had a lot of incredible action, well directed, shot, scored, acted. Can't say the same for anything in the Brosnan era.
