ha, thank you! the rhythm is A, B, and C#m. I'm not positive that this is the actual progression that's used in the original, but it worked for us.
the song is in the key of E, so if you know scales, the lead shouldn't be too hard to figure out, but if you're having trouble with it I'll definitely help you out

But I do think you may have gotten the chord progression a bit wrong. Of course, the changes could have been intentional so that's totally cool.
