Another one who have left us some great music. Thanks LWJ. We will never forget you and your music. Peace Brother. I know you are singing in heaven with Sam, Marvin, Jackie, Whitney, Joe, Louis, Frankie, Janice, Elvis, Nat, James, Etta, and so many others. You never been forgotten. You still live in our hearts, still today
I had never heard this song until I heard Hugh Laurie's version on his CD. It got me curious who the original artist was... This is great. Truly, truly great. (:-3
I used to play this for Georgia-the bartender at the Brass Key in Ensley,Alabama back in the mid 90's- She loved it-and who doesn't- it's a pure classic from one of the greatest singers ever.

Ths is one of the greatest proformers in the 50s and 60s. I am sorry he had to leave us so soon. He was one of my fav/ proformers. May he continue rest in peace. He is now on the night shiff, with Otis, James, Jackie, Clyde, David, Jimmy, Ray, and many others who has gone.
I think my mom had this song and played it but I remember a female vocalist recorded this song but I can't remember who. I was a real young kid then but I don't know, for some reason I think Millie Collier "I Had a Talk with My Man" did a cover of this song and I keep thinking it was her. Great song overall.
A great song that never really caught on as it should have. It was recorded on the King label, and it was released in early 1960. The talented Arkansas-born singer was convicted of manslaughter in 1966, and he died of a heart attack two years later, at the age of 30, in Washington State Prison.

I love this song. When I was a kid singing in a rock n roll band, I use to sing this song all of the time.
