  • Hey bro nice job... How strong do you think the weld in the middle of the feame is?? I'm asking that because i got a 73 shortbed and the frame cracked and i'm thinking to get a piece of another frame from the junk yard and just weld it and put some extra supports.. What would be your opinion on that?? Any advice can help... Thanks

  • @hnr2208 you can add a plate around a foot long by the width of the frame and bolt it in the inside , use 8 grade bolts, i seen that get done on a 79 check out my videos and ull see it

  • Nice job on your truck... I have a 66' Chevy and I also wanted to shorten my truck's bed as well. Can you please explain your measurements to your cut off where your blue tape are located? I was wondering if by any chance you speak spanish becuase I do have another question regarding the differential? GRACIAS

  • @FMarentes1 I cut 12 inches off the front and 8 inches off the back, measuring from the outside edges of the blue tape.

  • @mr954 I cut 12 inches off the front and 8 inches off the back from the outside edges of the blue tape. the front and back blue tape I put it 1 inch away from the flush mounts truck bed.
