Why do all the people always ask "what's the song"? Maybe even if it is a video of children dying because of starvation someone would ask "what's the song?
Why in the world would you use a dirty 15mm fisheye for these shots? Try a 24, 28, 35, or 50mm lens for this... you have a full frame camera and aren't shooting pothead skaters eating gravel in tight corners.
I dont know much about vid camcorders or cameras but isnt Canon EOS 5D MKII a camera? I know most cameras can shoot video now but if i want a good quality film I should go with camcorder right?
The 5d is the finest moving (and still) images machine available. The thing that makes it so great is the fact that it has the largest CMOS sensor (full frame) and it can accept any lens. (literally ANY) That includes the same lenses used on cinema cameras, without anything more fancy than a $30 adaptor.
I own EOS Rebel T2i, but the 5d is in my future. Google Vimeo, and search for EOS 5d, 7d, and T2i. You will be pleasantly surprised.
@TeppTennis A lot of people are switching to DSLR cameras for video because of the amazing quality. Im switching from a canon XL1S to a canon 7D, and the canon 7d will be 10 times better.
In all the glidecam movies i see the side to side movement, like a boat on the ocean. I makes me doubt to buy this product. I have had some proper results using just softwarestabilisation, giving up some resolution, but with nice and controlable results and it saves ya from a heavy stabiliser...
Was für ne Blende hattest du drin?
@CoolpixxDotCom I agree with you. I own a VeriZoom Aviator MX camera stabilizer, (The full rig, harness, arm and the sled), I got it in July of 2009. I use mine every weekend and I still need practice every chance I get. These people that think you can put in a few hours (10 - 20 hrs) are full of it. It take at least 40 Hrs just to get accustom the the feel and weight. Go out and try to get a job on a film project with just 20 hrs of practist. They'll tell you take a hike.
judging by the wobblyness of this video i think he might have been joking.. operating a steadicam takes a lot of practice and movement training. some people just don't move well and it takes a lot of practice to overcome.
do you think it's worth it go get the hd version?

Looks like smudges on the lense... though it was artifacts, but can see it in all shots. Also camera is not balanced quite perfectly
naftulyev 2 years ago
Yeah, I can see that too....it is kind of bugging me a lot! haha

It's not the balance... It's the operator. He needs to learn how to use it. I agree with CoolpixxDorCom, below

I think its a great product. But you neet a short trainingtime for it. But then - also stairs are no problem.
