Two questions..

1. I think I'm getting a DL4 for Christmas, should I just use a diff. delay pedal with it to get 2 delay sounds like The Edge uses, or should I sell it and get a Nova or something similar (can't be TOO expensive.. under $300)

2. Would an AC15 work to get the sound, or are there different components in the 30?

Woooow sounds amazing! Delay settings could be 391 ms first delay and 261 ms second delay, the other parameters use your ears! Personally i use them separately (parallel) , i am not sure how it works when connecting two dealys one after other.

I have a verbzilla and use the octo for shimmer. Question do you think one could get the pitch shift effect if they DIDN'T have the shimmer sent to a second amp like you did?

@justanotherlespaul Hey, sorry 2 but my nose-Don't get an AC30VR if you're after that sound. The VR AC30s arnt tube amps you'll never get that clean sound at higher volumes like Edge-it's a transistor amp & it'll just destort at higher volumes. I lookd at the at same amp-I know its good cause it only costs 1/3 of the top shelf AC30s but you'll kick yourself cause the sound will be terible. Get a fully tube/valve amp - cost more but worth it (sound & resale). Look on ebay for 'Fender Hotrod 212'

You really have a superb way of unpicking Edge's sound - minute changes to delay can make all the difference. Wouls you mind sharing the 2 delay timings you are running (ad are they from the same unit?)

im pretty sure thats the verbsilla line 6 shimmer pedal u can hook it up to an expression peddal and use it like that i might be wrong im not sure :)
