@Darkwing2335 Actually, prior to becoming the incarna of magic and a god. He was a court mage and the first Magitek Knight. Nowhere in the game is it said that his occupation is that of a clown.

He simply behaves like a jester. But his actual political and military position is that of rather high power.

Another way to look at it, He's the prototype of what Celes became, except that the procedure infused him with massive magical power that broke his sanity.

Metoe in the ds version is relativily week compared to flare. i mean it does like 2000 damage and then flare does like 5000-7000 or even 9999.

I'm not too sure but I think on my first playing of the game after Zande I was so beat up and in the Dark World I thought 'more paths? WTH?! Probably just treasure, let's head straight for the boss' because I didn't know about the crystals and Dark Cloud annihilated me without me being able to do aynthing... I might be wrong there but I think you need to have the warriors help you or you're screwed.

Well, Bailly, there are actually TWO versions of the Echidna. One was the mother of all monsters in Greek mythology, and was Typhon's mate. The other one is the animal in Australia.

Shurikens can be bought at the hidden shop in forbidden land Eureka. The extra summon spells for Bahamut and the other two summons can be bought in Eureka as well.

I only wish they would actually let you warp to the real dark world and make it look similar to the first world, only covered in darkness. There you could have an entire world to explore with all new towns, dungeons, classes and weapons etc. That would have been amazing. I guess limitations in hardware and time made it impossible. They should have picked up that idea when transferring it to the DS.

I followed your lp on my DS and spotted all the diferences and all the little details they added to make it as close to a remake as possible. It was realy fun, so thank your for the videos.

I would never have found those secret passages and the bahamut summon without your help!

Also on the DS for the final boss gauntlet I used a Dark Knight (Luneth) Magus (Refia) Ninja (Ingus) and a Devout (Arc) lvl.57 and it was a TOUGH BATTLE FOR ME.
