i like the alestorm track "keelhauled" WAY better. The Alestorm track sounds like true, beer-swiggin’, raping and pillaging Scottish Pirate Metal, while the Swashbuckle track sounds like tongue-in-cheek thrash played by guys dressed up as pirates from… New Jersey. alestorm are good, swashbuckle sound like a cross between slayer and lamb of god. no pirate melody, no distinct pirate sound at all. just a bunch of thrash fags wearing pirate costumes

Guys, don't label please! Sure they got pirate clothes, and the theme is...pirate! But that doesn't mean they now must play pirate style riffs and melodies. In the pirate days there was blood gore and pretty insane stuff going on, so you can put it easily in a death-thrash metal sound and style and use prate elements. Why the fuck not!
