10 seconds is not very fast for 1000+ hp. An Audi S2 (similar weight, also awd) does low 9s times with 1000hp.

I beleive AMS and English tune on a DynoJet dynomometer. DynoJets use a drum with no load and measure hp at the rear wheels. Mustang dynos use a load drum which measures horsepower in a more realistic way, but produces lower hp numbers.
